This map is misleading if we are talking murder because it blatantly says in the corner that it is including suicides, accidental deaths, undetermined circumstances and law enforcement.

If this is about murder, then stay congruent and make it about murder as that is completely different from all those I listed per the map.

Yes cities are infected with gun death, and it has nothing to do with the guns themselves guns are a tool nothing more nothing less. Get rid of guns you’ll have more knife deaths or acid attacks. Even cars are used in mass killings, remember that guy who drove his SUV into a Christmas parade killing several people and manning others? by the media because it was a black guy killing whites. The media covered it by saying an SUV drove into a Christmas parade crowd. It was only conservative media that shared the race of the perpetrator because he’s black.

But yes, cities have become a major epicenter of murder and unfortunately, it’s Black people doing the vast vast majority of the murders. You’re an atheist. Explain how we should deal with Black people killing each other and killing people of different races. You don’t say whites doing this is often.

What we never see in these so-called "statistics" is how many deaths came from gang-on-gang activities. Another thing you never see is how many of these deaths using a firearm come from self-defense or by law-biding citizens protecting what is theirs or their family or even a complete stranger. Or even the numbers of accidental deaths.

Take those numbers out of the totals and see what the result is. At least an 95% drop, I'd say.

Firearms have never been the problem. It's the mentally imbalanced who commit these atrocities that is the problem.

Besides, the CDC is one of many anti-gun mouth pieces known for stretching the truth.

Yes, and it is usually democrat run cities like Chicago or New York that are the murder capital of the country. Chicago has more shootings in a weekend than most places have in a whole year.

@msc545 no, In 2022 Chicago had 630 murders while a city like Dallas had 214. St Louis is the top of the hit parade with 69 murders per 100k people. It has a liberal Democrat mayor. Let's face it. It is not even a contest.

Cities are where poeple live close together, if you live im the middle of nowhere there simply is no one close by to shoot you or get shot by you.

Crime is insane in any kind of city. The difference is whether or not the city acknowledges this and do their best to minimize it as best they can, or do they not do anything about and quite possibly even defend criminals from their victims.
