Should mutual combat be legal in every state?

I'll add that it's only illegal in those states if serious bodily harm is inflicted. So it's not like someone can beat someone half to death and get away with it

Lastly, it's not about IQ. It's about values. One side of the issue values safety through control, and the other values freedom of choice

Not in favor of it. State may end up paying medical bills and disability. I also worry that people will make poor choices - letting their emotions or desire to show of result in long term injuries.

The only argument I'd make against it is it encourages resorting to physical violence, which isn't exactly indicative of a civilized society.
But at the same time, "civilized" people still find a way to get back at eachother that can cause even more harm than hitting eachother in the face a few times.
Anyone can go to their local boxing ring and do it legally, so I don't see the difference
