If there was a new campaign for the elderly, would there be extremists too?

Ok let's suppose there was a new campaign for the elderly. It focuses on the elderly getting more benefits, better treatment, against abuse towards elderly and new laws for them.

We all know the other movements had radicals that ruined it all. Would a campaign for the elderly also create extremists?

I would like to think at least old people wouldn't take advantage nor overdo it like the other movements did.

I assume Extremist who believe in Social Darwinism. They say "The strong and the fittest will survive..." They think only the strong should live. Social Darwinism is stupid in my opinion.

I think most people have a heart and want to care for the elderly though.
