I think other countries in Europe need to step up and start pulling their weight a bit more when it comes to national defense. Ukraine obviously needs our help right now but other countries like England and Germany need to put on their big boy pants and be the military power house in that region. They can't rely on the US. America is just too far away and to involved in its own foreign policy problems.

Speaking as an American, no it is not. Also as an American, I'd love nothing more than see us go full isolationist, but we'll honor our alliances and security agreements so that isn't going to happen.

America isn't helping Ukraine to be nice, it's just a way of fighting a war against Russia without risking American lives. America doesn't do anything without expecting something in return tenfold.
