Why is it that flat Earthers are typically Republican?

If you go into a flat earth community and ask them about their politics beliefs, 9/10 times they will be Trump supporters but why? Why are they usually republicans?

Oh yeah, that's a lost cause for sure! If you have a conversation with them, you will notice it won't be intelligent. A lot of them aren't as educated. No person with a shred of intelligence would support a man begging the vice president to overturn an election.

A man just got convicted for that riot on January 6, and his lawyers told the judge they were just "Venting" and there's no crime in that. "Venting"? A person vents, they go to a friend or buy a bottle of Smirnoff and get loaded. Breaking into a building with an attempt to inflict violence because a person doesn't agree with a decision, a decision made by the voters by the way, that's a move by someone with spiders up stairs in the brain, you know?

The thing that gets me, some of these people will admit they aren't that educated and when you call them out for not being so intelligent, they get offensive. People crack me up!

I really like the theory where the flat earth people say the earth is shaped like a disc. You can some hilarious answers when you ask them where the ocean water goes! When God sends another man to build an ark, I hope these people stay behind when he floods the earth! It will be more hell than heaven if these people come along!

Because flat earthism is a part of American Christianity (yes it's practically a denomination all on it's own) and that movement is what has spawned a lot of the Republican rhetoric you see today.

It's why every Republican has some policy or another that will make you laugh or baulk at. They wrongly believe they are upholding "Christian" or "conservative" values.
