It's a misspelling. It should be 'milquetoast' and means feeble or timid. In the early 20th century there was often an implied 'effeminite' or even homosexual connotation attached.

I had no idea what that meant either. I might not like Kayleigh McEnany but I find it so irritating how Trump throws everyone who's ever been loyal to him under the bus. Obviously anyone who works for him should expect this, it's still irritating though.
