First of all worry about yourself. If you know you’re not racist than you are not racist. Simple. If you don’t know know you probably were or want to be. Pick one. You decide what racist or not; not other people. The fact that you had to ask this question doesn’t make me instantly assume that you are racist, but I would more assume that you’re culturally confused. I am from Philadelphia The majority of my friends aren’t even white and are mostly black or Spanish Speaking. Now, with my experience being politically correct is incorrect. Let me rephrase, being politically correct is incorrect.
What I mean by that is politicians and TV will mention “African-American“ male… yotta, yotta..
DONT DO THAT!
First of all, if it’s a friend just say he’s a friend or that dude or that girl for mentioning a noun before. If you don’t know their name and you’re describing them, it’s totally OK but use it lightly. Politically correct terms like African-American are cringey said out loud in real life unless in court.
Sparingly say “black guy“, black guy is another black. It’s not a big deal. They will refer to you as a white guy when they’re talking amongst blacks. Oh, I said it, somebody’s coming after me! Jk.
Now, I remember growing up not to refer as someone as Spanish unless they’re from Spain. This may be so outside the US but in the US things are a little different. This one’s a bit more confusing - the politically correct term Hispanic isn’t bad we can so use that! Latino or Latina definitely works well. I say Spanish-speaking I think that’s a very straightforward way to go about this.. My friends from different Spanish-speaking countries. Describe others from Spanish-speaking countries as “Spanish.”
Don’t say Mexican unless you actually know they are from Mexico, this one erks me all the time and I think it’s it’s so ignorant to call someone Mexican when they are clearly not and maybe from Guatemala.
If your white nobody calls you Caucasian. Wouldn’t sound weird being called Caucasian over white I don’t know?
Also, a person leaning more towards racism is someone who is ignorant and insensitive
Against another set ethnicity, which isn’t their own. I guess you technically can be racist towards your own kind, but you technically can be a psychopath as well. There’s definitely levels to racism. It definitely starts with racist jokes or slurs. These could be light impact and mostly lead to know harm, we don’t know but it may grow from there. I’m not gonna go into too much detail with the next levels of racism but it’s clear to think the next level would be someone who is actively being racist and who is more direct about it and doesn’t care about if the races or not. From there it’s just an activist who pushes for racist activity.

Basically, being a racist is when someone mistreats or disrespects another person simply because they are of a different ethnicity.
It’s treating other people as less important or less valuable, based on their ethnic background.
I know nowadays, the term racist can be confusing because people twist things that aren’t racist INTO something racist by changing the context of things and assigning meaning to something that wasn’t meant to be.
For example, simply because somebody is more physically attracted to one ethnicity more than another, doesn’t mean that they’re racist.
Being racist. And being racist means believing people of different races have different traits and characteristics or that people of certain races are better than others just based on the traits associated with their race. Considering different races obviously have different traits everyone should be racist in that sense, everything else is reality denying nonsense. To admit there are different traits associated with different races doesn’t mean you have to be racist in the other way too though - you don’t have to believe that certain traits are inherently better making certain races better. However having an opinion of what traits are better isn’t strange or evil, it’s very human and makes sense. It doesn’t have to mean you discriminate or treat people poorly just because of their race either.
Dare slightly to criticize an opinion of postmodern commie or person of color.
Meanwhile I think majority of whites living in multicultural countries take being called racist or conspiracy theorist as anti establishment badge or as indicator to hitting the target. It's like shooting on steel targets in more than 300m, you don't see the impact but you hear it.

I would say it needs to be actively discriminating based on appearance but is quite meaningless now. There is a lot of evidence that some races are better at some things than others at average. The concept that if you say so then it is racist is absurd.
That thinking Netflix's Cleopatra documentary is bad, is cause to call viewers racist is an abuse of the word.
Ignorance is the biggest evil on this planet people who are ignorant who are lazy who are followers who don't have enough brain power to think about common sense and people who just hate they don't care what it is they hate
Another word is prejudice or pre judgment. While we all have a bias with past experiences it can't overwhelm in meeting new people and experience new experiences. an open mind and a cleat slate goes a long way.
Racists hate other races/ethnic groups and think they’re the superior race (e. g. KKK, Nazi, Neo Nazis, White Supremacists, etc)
It’s in someone’s perception and interpretation. I could say something harmless but someone else’s may assume or treats it as though I’m being racist and lash out on me for being racist.
Hate towards a specific race and it can be more than one
