Because it’s the only thing they can do to get happy or bring some meaning to their lives. They’re already poor and can’t afford to do anything they may want in life, having kids is one thing they can do because for most people getting pregnant is free. As to how to afford to raise them is a question for later, ”it’ll work out”. They usually come from poor families themselves and they’re still here so obviously it worked out even though it may have been hell growing up, it’s what they know too. So for them it’s a matter of be poor and not being able to afford to do anything and don’t have kids so basically you have nothing to live for - can’t do what you dream of or want and have no kids to bring you purpose that way. Or be poor and can’t afford to do anything but have kids to bring some joy, meaning and motivation to keep going. That’s also why many poor people have lots of kids. They’re already poor and feel like they won’t ever get out of that anyway so may as well have more kids, which are their only source of happiness or satisfaction. Something to look forward to during pregnancy, otherwise there’s never anything to look forward to for them as they have nothing else that’s fun or exciting going on in life.

As far as you think about poor people in developed countries.
They have anyway nothing to lose 250k$, 500k$, 1M$... it doesn't really matter how many a child costs. One child more means more financial public support. For normal people it's alms for poor people it's few bottles more of alcohol.

In underdeveloped countries are children a "future investment", the problem is who will feed them until they can find their own food.

Technically, everyone outside the elites is a "poor person" But you ask anyone and they will always call themselves "middle class" rather than "poor". But I digress.

People cannot always choose when to have children, some people are more fertile than others too. Also, it's bullshit they are "adding" to their expenses. Most will get funding from the government, family and friends.

What we need to do is get rid of his dual income economy, and prices will go down because people wouldn’t be able to afford to pay so high prices.

If they are on welfare they get more money the more illegitimate kids they have. I knew somebody who was on welfare. She had 5 kids from 5 different guys. They lived in the father's 2 family house so he had some kind of a Section 8 scam going on too. She showed up at a family function and was showing people the pictures of her trip to Disneyworld.

People aren't typically poor because they have a history of strong support base and/or a history of good decision making. If you're 40 years old working as a cashier at walmart you're probably not considering that 250k figure on anything.

I think it's mostly black and Hispanic stupid people having lots of these kids. Not saying black and Hispanic are stupid, mind you, but there are a lot of stupid black and Hispanic people having kids. On why some black people are like this though, I think it's because they're indoctrinated in schools that they are in some oppressed society run by straight white men. So that's going to mess up their hopes of any future and so they give up on a straight and honest path of marriage and so lots of guys might just wanna tap some ass and move on. They can't provide for women in a society the way they're taught that is rigged against them. Just tap that twerking ass and move on. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Hispanic people are more confusing to me but I think it's because lots of them come into the country illegally escaping drug cartels and corrupt cops and whatnot and just wanna screw and have a good time. That tends to make a lot of babies.

Education is the foremost inhibitor of babies. That's why Asian people make the fewest; highest educational attainment. Then lowest ones make the most babies like Hispanics and blacks.
