Not that they can of course, because that's impossible, but you know what I mean. We don't often hear about women wanting to be men, and I don't blame them, because who in their right mind would want to do back-breaking hard labour for most of their lives, only to die between five and fifteen years sooner than most women?

But there are many men who are now identifying as women. Aren't they? I thought they were, judging by how often I hear stories about this in the media. Maybe it's all been exaggerated for controversy and clicks.
Am I wrong about men not living as long as women? I thought that was true too.
Don't men do most of the really shitty jobs? You know, like working on building sites, in factories (the few that are left and haven't been outsourced to China), and as electricians, firemen and so on. The dangerous jobs.

Great question. Interestingly, Johns Hopkins did a study of everyone who went through gender "reassignment" over the past 20 years or so, and to a person they all said life as a woman was easier and friendlier than as a man.
