Here are some of the potential reasons:
Poverty, violence, corruption, lack of education, lack of jobs, and cartels are slowly killing these countries. People would prefer to die in the process of getting to a better opportunity, knowing that they tried, rather than staying home with the guilt of not trying to give their families a better opportunity.
It’s seasy to say that they should enter the legal way, but not everyone is lucky to be born in a developed country, where the opportunities are vast. Where you get paid the money you deserve for your work, where they don't deny you a job interview based on your gender or age, and where the few oportunities are given to everyone and not only to the ones in favor of the current government.
I am not saying that illegal immigration is right, I'm just demonstrating, why people move illegally...

"The new asylum rules have been blasted by immigrant rights advocates on Biden’s left, both in public comments and in private meetings with White House staff. Groups representing immigrants quickly sued the government to block the rules, saying they are a return to Trump-era asylum restrictions and violate U. S. asylum law designed to offer protection from people fleeing political persecution and state-sponsored violence."
The heartlessness of the current American president...
Many flea war. No job opportunities and leave for a better life. Some are trafficked in. Other people's visas run out. Most of them were denied alyssum.
It is very sad. Sham marriages happen as well. Even knowing the risk of getting caught for most, this option is better than staying in their current position 😕
How much experience do you have with this? Have you ever filled out the paperwork?
It's way cheaper than paying a coyote, but you wouldn't know that. Your goal is to defend a brain-dead president who is breaking the law.

If I broke into another country illegally I would expect to be shot on sight. And they would have every right to shoot me. So why should I have sympathy for someone else who breaks into my country illegally? They have a lot of nerve. Screw them.
Try to do it legally and see how complicated and expensive it is.
Most countries have a difficult path to citizenship. Here in the U. S. it's (relatively) easier. In countries like Saudi Arabia, even being born there is no guarantee or citizenship if BOTH parents are Saudi citizens. If I remember correctly, citizenship is granted at age 21 unless you fuck up (criminal record) in which case you can be denied.
The US does not need and cannot absorb mass migration of any sort. That is the crux of the matter. So if you encourage and facilitate mass migration, there will obviously be lots of problems that result from it.
Because doing it legally is so cumbersome and likely to fail that it isn't worth it.
I love that graphic. If they don't like it, don't let the door hit them on the way back to whatever shithole country they came from.
Welcome to the right side of politics embrace it like we do you with open arms
Because illegal immigrants seem to get a special privilege over everyone else.
Simples...
Because of the time and commitment it takes. Took my ex-wife (who is Asian) four years to become a naturalized citizen going through the process.
Most will get turned down and the process is often extremely long to come.
My grandma solicited for my uncle to come to the U. S. back in 2004 and he finally came in November 30th of 2022.Quicker, easier and more benefits just to walk in and live off the taxpayers of the US!
Besides, what rights are given to law breakers in a foreign country?Coming into America is not a right. You are only entitled to citizenship if you are born here.
The average legal immigrant to the US spends 15 years and twenty thousand dollars on the process. Perhaps the problem is the process.
