Why don't illegal immigrants need visas to enter the US like everyone else?

I've been watching shows about people coming through airports or by ground and needing passports to enter. MIA (Miami International Airport), Gatwick Airport, and Heathrow in the UK. Anyone trying to enter without a passport gets shipped back to where they came from. They take a dim view of people illegally entering the US. So, why are illegal immigrants allowed to pour across the border without identification or passports, like people coming in legally need? This is why we don't need Democrats in charge anymore. I'd ask Biden but he doesn't even remember what he had for breakfast.

The US has a policy - as many countries do - of taking in people who are seeking political asylum - meaning, their government has specifically targeted them for having different political beliefs and there is an imminent threat of them being prosecuted or even killed.

What's happening is that leftist organizations - funded by billionaires like George Soros and Bill Gates, among others - have hired and trained activists to go to central-American countries and tell people that all they need to do to get into the US is to claim political asylum (which the vast majority do not qualify for) and they'll have to be let into the country. This is despite the fact that this violates a number of rules and laws. For example, International Law states that a political asylum seeker needs to request asylum from the first country that they arrive at - which in the case with nearly all of these immigrants would be Mexico, not the US. It also requires that asylum seekers MUST submit their request at a US port-of-entry, which on the southern border is limited to just a few places.

The Biden administration, under a series of Executive Orders from Biden, signed the first day he took office and reversing Trump's EOs, and allows "asylum seekers" to gain entry into the US while they await their asylum hearing - which at this point have a wait list of about 6 years due to the huge volume of immigrants. And the Biden admin is giving "asylum seeker" status to immigrants who don't enter through a Point Of Entry as well. In other words, all immigrants need to do is lie and say they are being politically persecuted, and they are being let in - without ANY further screening - and let go inside the US with their only requirement to show up years later to their asylum hearing. And if they don't show up? NOTHING HAPPENS.

Again, the vast majority of these people do not qualify for political asylum, and when there IS an actual asylum hearing, most are correctly being denied asylum and some get deported - but many are not, because, for example, if a woman can give birth while she is here waiting for her asylum hearing, her child is (currently) given US citizenship automatically, and then no one wants to separate an infant from their mother, so both infant and mother is allowed to stay. And under the Biden admin, entire families are being allowed to stay when a child is born here. This tidbit of information is, of course, being given to hundreds of thousands of other immigrants, to encourage them to do the same.

None of this is an accident - it's 100% being done on purpose. The idea is that once they arrive in the US, and become a huge burden on the population, there will be pressure to allow them to work, which then requires IDs and Social Security numbers, and THAT can be used to justify allowing them to vote, and of COURSE, they will vote for Democrats because they are taught that Democrats are the ones who let them in.

Who cares what damage all of this does to the economy and security of the US? As long as the Democrats can cheat and win elections, that's all that matters. It's estimated that at least 50,000 Communist Chinese have come in as illegal immigrants, along with many people from the Middle East who are known to have serious animosity towards the US (think: 9/11). And tends of thousands of gang members from central America can't be forgotten. Remember - there is NO screening going on at the border, per Biden Admin policy.

Economic migrants - which is what 99.9% of these people are - do not qualify for political asylum. Political asylum has very specific rules and is intentionally only going to qualify a small number of people.

But the left doesn't care about the rules, especially when they are running the enforcement arm of the government. Most of the migrants from over the last 30 years would never have even left their own countries if it hadn't been for leftist organizations who train them to request political asylum to exploit the system and gives them supplies to start them on their way. Many die, many more are assaulted or taped, even more are forced to be mules for drug cartels, and then there are the children who are leveraged for various purposes.

It's all terrible and most of it is artificial - all so Democrats can pack the vote.

Undocumented immigrants struggle, live in poor conditions at their home country / location mostly from South America immigrating through the Mexican Southern Border to cross into America. Right now due to the heat, there is less border crossings.

Current policies in place is ANY undocumented migrant who jumps over to the American side is deported and is NOT allowed back in to be a citizen or undocumented under the new rules of the current administration. IF there is an influx of migrants, the President has the power to close the border and not accept new migrants in.

Again look in an empathetic lens when seeing these poor, huddled, kind masses trying to come here.

I know the majority are good people because they ratted out a rapist / violent abuser at one of the shelters. They even beat him up!

Girl they "don't need the paperwork" because they're crossing in ways/places that the paperwork isn't getting checked. Aka illegally. That's the illegal part. (Or, as some have pointed out, they overstay on paperwork that has been checked and we simply don't have the manpower to make sure they leave when the visa expires given how many other, more important problems we have to deal with.)

But technically speaking, they do need the paperwork. They would LOVE to have the paperwork and will probably spend a significant amount of their time in the US trying to get the paperwork for either themselves or their children in hopes that they won't be booted back to whatever situation that they were trying to get away from in the first place.

Illegal immigrants aren’t often desperate enough to try border hopping with something so glaringly obvious. A majority of illegal immigrants come over legally, on temporary visas. The most common is usually a student visa. It wasn’t that long ago that Homeland security had this whole thing where they talked about the process of finding a school made exclusively for the purpose of registering student visas so people can come over legally with no intention to be a student. The “illegal” part is that they overstay their visas, they stay past the date when they’re supposed to leave and not many people consider that or police that very closely.

But none of the millions of illegals coming in had visas or identification. You don't know what kind of people, good or bad, are coming in. And when they commit a crime they don't go to jail, they just get deported in most cases. Then they just come back to do it again, repeat and repeat.

Yeah, my information came from a source, Politifact, which says that up to 40% of undocumented immigrants come by plane and simply overstay their visas that dictate that they can only stay long enough to complete a form of education that isn’t closely monitored outside of communications with the individual and the school itself (and some are made up just for the purpose of giving people legal visas). Yes, and is it really so hard to believe they just overstay their legally obtained visas? When time is up, they have to leave. The US only has 58 courts to deal with immigration, you think they can monitor that many people with so few facilities? What visas are you talking about? ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS don't have visas. Legal ones do. You can't get a visa without providing certain information, and that is checked before one is issued. They don't hand them out like candy. And the question was about illegal immigrants, not legal.

Yes, and visas have TIME LIMITS. Did you know you have to apply for a visa just to take a vacation in America? That’s how strict we are about our borders and how easy it is to overwhelm a nation that harbors 330 million people, 8 million of which are apparently illegal immigrants since the studies were likely first performed somewhere during the twentieth century. Visas are not permanent allowance into the country, they just let you in. Green cards, proof of citizenship, lets you stay permanently. You can come in legally and overstay your welcome if you manage to get people to help you, which many do.

True, they can. I saw that in the tv show about UK customs/immigration and people overstaying their visas. They are called absconders there. Some have been there working for years when they should have gone home. These people are either deported or wind up in jail when they are caught up with. A lot of illegal immigrants in the US also never went in for their court dates. So apparently, they never planned on becoming legal.

Now I find that hard to believe since the Cartels are all over in Mexico and no one is really safe. There have been Americans killed in Mexico at resorts where you would think they would be a little safer than in TJ. Who would want to immigrate there, especially with their standard of living there and crooked government?

All of this is my opinion, which is based on as much factual information as I can gather, and personal extrapolation.

I'm concerned about the border issues, but it's been clear to me over every administration in the last 50 years that no one really knows how to sort out asylum seekers and refugees from anything or anybody else. Migrant workers are essential to the economy, especially in California, but Congress has never given enough resources to do what needs to be done.

Someone posted this to be a "leftist" problem, but ironically, it was Reagan's policies that formed the backbone of present day Immigration reforms. In fact, Reagan often recognized the value of immigrants and migrant workers in public speeches. Having been Governor of California, he knew all too well their entire agricultural economy depended on them, and that California supplied most of the USA with it's domestic fruit and vegetable products. Governor Schwarzenegger knew this too, love him or hate him.

I digress. To answer your question more directly, the visa issue stems from a lack of staff to handle them and the lack of a consistent policy from administration to administration, in my opinion. This has been going on since the early 1900's, so to call it the fault of any one group is folly, in my opinion.

I think most come with student visas. At least that’s what happens here I Canada. They come with student visas but then they either get married to stay, get full time employment to meet the requirements of staying, or just flat out go off grid.

But those come in legally. In the UK they don't let in anyone unless they provide information about why they want to come in. They must have money or credit cards to show they can support themselves, or someone to live with, like a relative. Ones that are working in the UK but don't pay taxes are ousted. They also don't want people to come to work as it takes jobs from the citizens.

They do. It’s not about Democrat or Republican. You probably don’t believe, but look at reported numbers of illegal immigrants “shipped back” between the last two administrations. The problem is international laws regarding refugees and that the US is a country that generally believes in the rule of law and due process, although there seems to be plenty who don’t seem to think those are important, despite being fundamental values of democracy.

The thing is my dear that law is not a science - I repeat law is not a science - and from the law they come to a cocktail of contradictory and ridiculous situations and conclusions.
