Why does the US government require foreigners to have VISA's to come to the United States?

Money from VISA's help pay for the hay for the millions of border patrol horses and whips

Canadians don't need VISAS to come to America, and apparently, neither do Haitians or Hondurans

It ain't just the US that requires them. EVERY country in the world has their own immigration laws and processes for allowing foreign nationals into their country.

Find one country that'll allow ANY foreigners into their country without some sort of visa, pass, license, etc. Visitation is one thing. Staying beyond that requires the country to know you're there..

It's not rocket science kiddo. Every country has visa's and visa requirements. Even Afghanistan. The running joke being the US military failed in it's last visa application and the Taliban was a few days away from deporting them.

because we want to be able to tell if you're an American citizen or not we are a melting pot so it would be hard to tell if someone is a citizen or not. that's a way we can protect our country and our citizens from foreign nationals that would hurt them.

(99.9% of foreign nationals are going to hurt anyone in the United States but it is still a precautionary measure to keep that.01% from hurting citizens of the United States)
