My Anonymous Op-ed to the DNC (Democrat Party)
For over 50 years you told me that you had my back. You convinced me that if I voted for you, my life would be better.
You lied, my life has not become better, in fact it is becoming worse.
When we first met I had a family - a wife and two children. My children were both attending decent public schools. They were getting good grades, and on their way to having fulfilling careers.
Our neighborhood had movie theaters, grocery stores, dry-goods stores, auto mechanics and banks.
You pressured business people in this country to embrace diversity. "Diversity" ended up making white businesses stronger and decimating black businesses. Black people started going to white diners, and white movie theaters, and white hardware stores, and white Banks because they thought they were better. Because of your forced "diversity" our businesses in black neighborhoods folded and went into bankruptcy.
We were told that in order to qualify for public assistance, I had to leave my family, that my wife had to raise my children on her own. We were left with nothing but want, as you got stronger.
Now my family is fatherless, our children are attending Public Schools where we are taught to embrace diversity and give up personal responsibility.
It's become increasingly obvious that as you got stronger and more powerful, instead of helping us, you decided to help powerful people. You have helped the educational elite, Hollywood celebrities, and corporations like Amazon get stronger (a company that pays wages so low that many qualify for food stamps - while the CEO Jeff Bezos is the richest man on earth).
You promised to help us and said that if we joined you, that the American dream would be ours too. And after 50 years it is not the case. We are poor and miserable; worse off than when we first met.
Signed,
American Black People
No, it's not. In the 1960's there was official racism. Today there is still racism, but it's not openly done by government agencies.
Ben sliced them to pieces.
Thanks for the MHO

I believe that it is far more racist now than the 1960s, judging by the behavior of some, and much less racist by others.
I think that if those who feel racially discriminated against would hold their heads up high, not in defiance, but to show the world that they are every bit worthy of all that life has to offer as anyone else, that the world would see them that way, as well.
To draw a non-racial parallel, when I first started wearing skirts, eye makeup, lip gloss, and nail polish, yet maintaining full male persona, I was hesitant about letting my full self being seen. People looked at me, strangely, not because of my attire, but because of my odd, hiding behavior. When I finally realized that I had to own who I am, I now hold my head up and just go about my business. I now get just rare curious glances at myself, not the "what in the hell is wrong with this guy" looks that I used to get sometimes.
I could go on indefinitely on the subject.
There's just no need to keep harping about racism.
It needs to just go away. The only way that is going to happen is to just freakin' live.
No. USA is the greatest country to ever exist. Today is the best time to be an American and the only way to top it tomorrow and then the next day.
Would you say our government is horribly corrupt with self intrest? I would also say yes. It's still 4.5 out of 5 stars least corrupt nation to exist. It's only when we rest on our laurels do we become the demons of our past. We push forward to the future being the best America we are going into the future.
No, in the 60s there were still separate drinking fountains and schools were still segregated. However things have been going in the wrong direction after Obama has been president. He made everything about race which is the very definition of racism.
Lol fuck no, in the 60's they still had lynchings, school segregation, and Jim crow laws. Those thst say it's worse are delusional at best and have never experienced real racism.
Nope.
