It has a lot more to do with the quality of people you are associated with than it does your gender. I think it just seems like more people care about women because women are more prone to put on a pretense about caring even though they don't truly care.

More conservative circles would agree on this it seems. Western world has made everything seem 'normal'. A whining man doesn't look good ngl. Men being humans are to be emotional... But not as much as women. It's not a matter of complaint, it's more to do with how genders are created to be. Women and men excel at different respective roles which wouldn't suit them if they were to be interchanged. One of them being the case here.
