No bc its nothing but debating and if your not in agreement with the other then it gets into a debate and argument and no one wins... so it is what it is, wether we like it or not. Politics isn't for me, sorry. 🙂

Yes, and I think everyone in a democracy should, because thats what what takes power from those few that do care about it and want it for their own. Politics is about controle of power by definition, the good think in democracies everyone can and should be doing it. You dont need to be elected but voting for those that you informed yourself about and see as the best to help people is needed.
I think being interested in it can be extended to being interested in what happens within that system. I for example dont care what happens within football at all (soccer for those US people) I dont care about any outcome who could win if they change something within it or what it costs to participate in it.
For politics no being interested in the same manner would mean: I dont care who is elected, what elected people do with their power and if the system changes, or what it costs to participate. I DONT WANT THE SYSTEM CHANGE FROM DEMOCRACY. Also I dont want to have participation costs me something, VOTING IS A BASIC RIGHT not something you should be able to BUY WITH A RESSOURCE.

It's not very interesting, and most of the people who take it seriously tend to be annoying, manipulative and obnoxious. Most politicians themselves are complete assholes who only pretend to care about ordinary people, but really couldn't give a stuff about us.

I had more interest before it's become off-putting in recent years, in the last half decade or slightly less. Sigh. And then others got on bandwagons, I liked politics when it was a hobby hardly anyone cares for lol 🤣🤣🤣
