What do you think of politics?

I'm personally sick and tired of politics and the news. I just feel like both sides are fighting over nonsense, both sides are saying one thing and doing the exact thing they are fighting against. People are taking revenge, fighting back, blaming the other for fighting back. I mean both sides pick apart eachothers words and use them as weapons. Not to mention the news and the government spin it up to cause more fighting to happen. It gets them numbers and money. The government never cares about its people, they just are causing people to fight over everything, politics, race, sex, religion you name it. At this point it's driving fear and rage into everyone while the rich and powerful sip their coffee or tea and laugh at us yet we fall into it.

Personally I don't participate in any political nonsense or news. They made it impossible for people with diffrent beliefs or views to live next to eachother now. Honestly I love chatting with people of different beliefs and I'd love to just talk about the differences to learn more without getting my head ripped off or burned at the stake for believing somthing diffrent. I just don't get it.

I understand where you're coming from. It's exhausting to see all the fighting and negativity in the media and it can be difficult to feel like your voice matters. However, I believe that it is important to stay informed and engaged with the political process, even if it seems overwhelming or frustrating at times. It's important to have a discussion about ideas and to be open to hearing opposing viewpoints in a respectful way. It's okay to have different beliefs and that doesn't mean we have to fight about it either. We can learn from each other and try to understand each other's perspectives.

That's what I try to do. When people talk to me about this stuff. People always act so angry and I've even met people who hate the other side so much they shake with anger when talking about them, even talk about wanting to kill them.

You need to cowgirl-up and take a stand. Either that or start learning Mandarin Chinese. People who say they are moderate, neutral or independent, may as well just sit on the sidelines and accept your fate. You get what you get, and don't complain.

Don't waste your time talking to hotheads that want to bite your head off. Debate normal people.

Personally I dont particularly like politics, its something important but I rather just ignore it all together. Problem is, no one I can trust is taking it upon themselves to sort out the politics so I have to get invested myself.

The thing is, everything is politics and politics is everything. You either try to exert control over it or you get run over by it. You can't just distance yourself from politics, it will impact you either way. Sticking your head into the sand will only make sure that you suffer.

I pay attention to politics in Sweden because of my civic duty to safeguard my country. Meanwhile I pay attention to politics in USA because its a fun clown show and helps me laugh.
