We ended up having a discussion about it once. It annoyed me. After that we never talked about politics again and simply accepted that it's alright to have different views and support different people, it won't change the way we look at each other or feel about each other.

I do much more now than when I was younger. I always used to have the opinion that I caring about politics was a waste of time and that my vote counts as much as a grain of sand on a beach. But I always see posts related to it on my social media feed that I either agree or disagree with strongly and it's fueled my interest in it. Now any time the topic is brought up, I'm all ears.

@trimmedtip sadly I usually have to babble to strangers, like here and real world or email, or instead I just have to sometimes babble to myself less so if I'm babbling just to myself under my breath like "oh once again..." Or one or two sentences only of observational comedy 😈

I used to a fair bit, Now when a woke person brings it up I just ask questions can't answer till they shut up or melt down. Mostly only Right wing people can answer the big questions honestly and truthfully I've found. Though some lefties occasionally do too but they undermine their own self interests when they do.
