What’s something you low-key spend way too much money on without regretting it?

I have some expensive makeup, beauty products, and clothes, also collectibles. I don’t regret spending money on them because I was being careful with my overall spending but wanted treat myself to something I liked after working hard. Also the quality was worth it.

Just to play is probably roughly $25 per hour. Paying in advance for full seasons is about $450 to $1,000, depending on the season length. The equipment is insanely expensive, too. Even a pretty mid hockey stick is going to run you about $150-200. A good stick can be as much as $400. And they break, fairly frequently. I probably go through 2-3 sticks a year, and that’s probably low. And the initial setup with skates and pads and a helmet and all that was like $2,500, before I even had learned to play, lmao. It was a leap of faith in myself that I’d commit to it. But at those prices, it was easy to remind myself to stay committed 😂😂😂

Oh, and every season, I’ll be on a new team because one of my leagues is a draft league that has like three seasons a year, and they reshuffle the deck every season so the same people aren’t always together. So that usually means another $100 on top of the fees to buy new custom jerseys/uniforms. Those are fun though, usually, if your Captain doesn’t have a stupid idea for team names and designs, haha
