The point made in the clip was valid. He has used language that implies a threat of violence. There’s no doubt about it. The sad part is that this federal indictment was completely avoidable. It’s a bed entirely of Trump’s own making. He chose to take secret documents home that he wasn’t authorized to take. He chose to stonewall the National Archives and not cooperate with their return. He chose to not comply with a federal subpoena. He chose to try to hide the documents from the FBI as well as his own attorneys. He chose to share the documents with other people not authorized to view them. All he had to do was cooperate and give them back and there would have been no criminal intent to base an indictment on. You can’t willingly commit crimes and then cry you’re being persecuted.

Begging for protests but implying violence. This was the same guy who wanted Hillary Clinton imprisoned for a far less serious breach of national security and was critical of local prosecutors going easy on rioters during the Floyd protests. Now rule of law means nothing and he thinks he can break it with impunity. It’s hypocritical as hell. Do the crime, be a man and do the time.

Not really, If someone took what he said and comments an act of vandalism that’s not trump’s fault. I go back to the Bernie Sanders supporter who shot Steve Scalise because Bernie said they were trying to steal your health care. There is no difference between Bernie Sanders rhetoric, and Trump’s rhetoric. That is normal politics rhetoric both sides use to. Dumb people go out and kill people over it. Except Trump has a point, if they’re going to lock him up for taking documents then Clinton and Biden should be going to prison as well. I told you this almost a year ago if the democrats go through with this we will not see a president who doesn’t go to prison after their term in office. Now every 4 years we’re no longer voting for president we’re voting for who do we want to go to prison.

“We must fight for a right for healthcare” how would you interpret that as a normal person you clearly mean politically as somebody with some sort of mental issue he would say, go out and kill the opposition. Same thing goes with that trump said.

Both what Bernie and Donald said was Rhetoric not a call to go kill people,

It’s not like “ give me liberty or give me death” Patrick Henry that’s a call to action there a difference here. “Give me healthcare or give me death” or “give me the presidency or give me death”. That’s a calm to action (yes I’m switching words here around no, this is a call to action. These are simply examples.)

It's one thing to talk about fighting for a cause to a political audience, quite another to do so to an armed mob that you've called to the place where you will not achieve your goal without violence happening, which is what Trump did on Jan 6th.

Trump had plenty of room to NOT get in trouble - all he really had to do was return the documents when asked, but he is arrogant and narcissistic enough and enough of a hoarder to decide the documents belonged to him.

Had he returned them, it seems very likely nothing would have happened to him. Now he gets to be a defendant and perhaps a prisoner.

@msc545 on a legal level your not wrong, Since Trump bragged about how he didn’t declassify a document. He will wait in front of somebody in the media who was recording him you’re not wrong on a legal level.

On a political level , all you are wrong two things can be true at once. 1 what Trump did was bad and irresponsible. But Hillary Clinton did way worse. Joe Biden has done way worse. Then Trump Trump is an arrogant fool. Hence why I’m in the DeSantis Camp, but If democrats have opened up the can of worms here, Trump when he won in 2016 had every right to send Hillary to Jail. He didn’t. Why? Because he knew what it would do to the country, like Mark, Levin has said, Democrats broke the glass on this one. There’s no repairing it every single president who does not have a majority in the house and senate will be going to jail. There will be backlash after backlash at the backlash.

There is recently about to censure and fine Adam shift $16 million to pay for the fake Russian probe into the 2016 election. Conservative representative Thomas Massey voted against it why he’s a conservative shouldn’t he want to go after Adam shift of course but he is principal. Thomas Massey believes that Adam smasher be censored, but not be forced to pay fine, so he voted against the resolution Thomas Massey has been consistent, especially since he is currently in a lawsuit against Nancy Pelosi, who want to dock his pay because he refused to wear a mask in the halls of Congress. So he doesn’t think that Adam shift should be fine. It says that a president were the majority in the house regardless, if it’s Democrat or Republican could bankrupt the other party. Republicans/libertarians are not willing to destroy this country.

Democrats are sending their top political rivals to prison so they can’t be out on the campaign trail. Politically both actions charging Trump and fining Adam shift or both the wrong courses of action unless we’re voting for who we want to go to prison or go bankrupt that’s not a good future for the country.

The censure failed, for good reason and with 20 Republican votes against. There was Russian interference, that's a fact. There were many contacts between Trump's team and the Russians, also a fact. There were also many cases of obstruction of justice associated with the Mueller investigation.

@msc545 No Joe Biden is going to prison when he exits office. Whether it’s in 2025 or 2029 has yet to be decided. But Biden will be going to prison. Or he will die in office. It could be for the same charge as Trump because Biden took classified documents when he was a senator and VP both Biden and Trump did the exact same crime. If Trump goes to jail for this Biden will met him there or Trump will be let out of a prison cell inaugurated for his 2nd term president and Biden will be going to jail. Republicans are done playing the game.” for my friends, everything for my enemies the law.” That’s what Democrats have been doing for the last 3 years. And they’ve opened up this canna worms and now they’re going to have to eat the canna worms.

@goaded republicans don’t believe there was any collusion between Russia and Trump. We think you were lying. The only reason why the center failed was because of the $16 million fine house. Republicans have no agreed to get rid of the $16 million fine and Will Center, Adam shift next week.

The reason why Republicans not want is fine Adam Shift $16 million was because they don’t want democrats to come back and fine someone like Lauren Boebert or Marjorie Taylor, Greene a massive amount of money.

You got understand we are getting to a point in this country where every 4 to 8 years you’re voting on who do you want to go to prison because there will be retaliation by the Republicans against Joe Biden once he leaves office he will either be dead, or being investigated and going to prison. That’s how the presidency is going to work from now until the end of American history. Democrats opened up a can of worms now they’re going to eat it.

Republicans decided not to open up a can of worms by finding Adam shift $16 million because I know if they did that it would be a vote for who do you want to go bankrupt? If Republicans did find Adam shift Democrats what fine pretty much every Republican in the house and senate to the point of the bankruptcy. Our government is hanging on by a thread of collapsing. It wasn’t until you guys decided to indict Trump multiple times.

You have a very low opinion of your criminal justice system, you seem to think it would go along with Republican politicians making unsupported accusations. Biden didn't decide to indict Trump, two separate grand juries of citizens did, in response to evidence presented to them. Republicans won't be able to indict Biden unless there's evidence that he committed a crime. That's the way it works.

Guess what, so far there IS NO evidence Joe Biden committed a crime.

@goaded I don’t trust our justice system at all I have 0 trust. I wouldn’t go along with republicans making up a crime, but There is boxes of evidence that Biden committed a crime. Given he brought boxes of classified documents home from the time he was a senator. If he had an R by his name Biden would be arrested but he has a D by his name so nothing happens, James Comey. Did not prosecute Hillary Clinton back in 2016 when she had classified documents on a private home server that was hacked and let to the death of a couple Americans spy’s in Iran. But Comey didn’t prosecute her because he said she was there was no intent and she was a presidential candidate. I guarantee you if she was running on the Republican side, she would’ve been in prison. That’s just on the political level. The way our justice system works especially when democrats are in charge everything for my friends the law for my enemies. Republicans haven’t been playing that game but we’re tired of playing by the rules when democrats haven’t been. So now republicans will play the same game as democrats. So as soon as a president from here until the end of American history, exit the White House he might as well go to a Cop Car get handcuffed, and spend the rest of his life in jail. We are at a point in this country where they political opposition will be going to prison if they don’t win. I have 0% faith. As a matter fact I have -100% faith in our justice system.

Of course you don't trust your justice system, you've been innundated with years of propaganda against it (and the media).

The difference between Trump and any others (including Pence) who took home classified documents is that the others didn't do it intentionally, and they returned them as soon as the were aware of them. Trump is not being charged with anything to do with the documents he returned, just the ones he lied about having and showed to people without security clearance.

Again, the justice system has a safety factor: the grand jury (of ordinary citizens) and trial juries (ditto). They both have to agree that a crime has been committed to convict someone.

@goaded you forgot about the fact that Trump was President Biden Pence and Clinton were not. Bill Clinton kept classified documents in his sock drawer he was never charged. Hillary Clinton intentionally brought home classified documents on her private server and it ended up on Anthony Weiner‘s laptop not only that he tried destroying the document and lied about it. Biden clearly brought home classified documents store them by his corvette in the garage, where anyone can see him he was not president at the time either. He also stored them at the Penn Biden center. The only one that didn’t have clear intent to bring home classified documents was Mike Pence. By a legal argument. Biden Clinton and yes even Trump should be going to jail. Except Jame Comey changed that with his “did she have intent to leak classified information”. By his standard no one should be going to jail. What does looks like to everyone is this is yet another attempt to go after Biden’s main political rival Trump instead of actual justice being done. So on a legal level did Trump do something wrong here yes, political level does this look good NO and what it means going forward is there will not be a president that does not go to jail as long as the opposite political party has won the presidency because Republicans will now be going after Democrats and Democrats will not be going after Republicans.

Most of the country at this point like trump way better than Biden. We might actually see a case where trump wins the office from Prison and then has to pardon himself.

If Trump is in prison, he won't only have been indicted by a grand jury of citizens, but also convicted by a jury of citizens. Not, just thrown in prison by Biden, as you'd like to make out.

I don't think, say, Trump's interviews with Woodward are considered presidential records, which lines up with the fact that "a conservative activist group’s legal efforts to designate the Clinton tapes as presidential records under the Presidential Records Act were defeated in court" (they were certainly not "classified documents", as you claim).
www.washingtonpost.com/.../ Do I have to look at your other claims, to see if they're equally wrong? Maybe you'd like to check them before you make them?

Some of Trump's recorded interviews are considered evidence, when he was recorded describing national security documents he had that were still classified, which is one of the reasons he was indicted.

@goaded fortunately the judge in the case is on Trump’s side. He appointed her and by chance of lottery he got her has judge. But you gotta understand the political ramifications of this, Trump might have done something wrong here (and frankly very stupid given that the DOJ under Democrats would do anything to walk him up, so he needed to act in a way that would not get him in trouble he didn’t he was stupid for that). But again Hillary Clinton did something equally as wrong. Same with Biden under the Intent statute set up by James Comey. You’re correct on the legal aspect, you’re wrong on the political backlash again democrats have an opened up the can of worms to go after their main political opponent. They were no longer be a president that won’t go to prison because of what they have done in office or before like Joe Biden. This is why I said the only people that are above the law in the United States are presidents.

If Trump went off and shot somebody on fifth Avenue, yes he would be going to prison and I’m sure a lot of his supporters would lose support for him. If Biden shot somebody on fifth Avenue, he would not be going to prison and frankly, I doubt a lot of his supporters would care. They will do anything to go after Donald Trump and they’re doing it with Ron DeSantis as well. Gavin Newsom has threatened to put him into prison for kidnapping charges by flying illegal immigrants on a private jet to California. This is politics in the United States. At this point where the side of power will lock up the side that is not in power it is unfortunate you don’t like it I don’t like it you try to deny it, but this is the reality in the United States

It's not fortunate at all. Under the law she has to recuse herself, unless you think that being rebuked by an appeals court for interfering on Trump's behalf in an earlier stage of the case doesn't mean her "impartiality might reasonably be questioned.”

"The 11th Circuit’s ruling was particularly dismissive in reversing Cannon: “The law is clear. We cannot write a rule that allows any subject of a search warrant to block government investigations after the execution of the warrant. Nor can we write a rule that allows only former presidents to do so.” Specifically, the panel held she didn’t have jurisdiction and should not have ruled on the case."

      www.washingtonpost.com/.../

She's also only overseen a few simple cases at trial, and was appointed to her lifetime position by the defendent himself.

It's bullshit that anything Biden or Clinton have done are anywhere close to what Trump is rightfully accused of, and unlike the right, the left would not support a president that clearly broke the law in a way that would cause any other person to be indicted.

What crime are you talking about? Keeping government records? Yes, that's a crime, but it's usually not charged if you didn't do it on purpose and you return them.

Most places in Europe it's a crime to exceed the posted speed limit, but you're not going to get charged for a few mph over. Drive 100mph past a school at pick-up time, or try to hide the highly sensitive documents you know you've got and lie to the authorities about them, and you're toast.

Disney is their own problem. Frankly DeSantis had no real business going after them the way he did. From a business perspective he's sending Florida in to the dirt

This was a very long time ago and things were different then - Biden would not support this today as he did back then.

Also, nice work on misrepresenting it - this was not segregation, it was being opposed to busing which is quite different.

Also, subsequently, He supported the extension of the Voting Rights Act, amendments to the Fair Housing Act, sanctions against apartheid South Africa and the creation of a holiday honoring Martin Luther King Jr. In 2010, he pushed to roll back sentencing that many believed exacerbated racial disparities.

@msc545 Biden was opposed to integrating black & white high schools which is a segregationist policy. He was a democrat in thd 60s and 70s, just like KKK member Robert Byrd.
Then there's also the 1994 Crime Bill which Biden drafted personally.

(Checking history) black lynchings in the 90s when the crime bill was passed. Yeah those lynching guys voted Republican.

And the crime bill had pretty horrid backlash on black men which Dems try to fix but Repubs won’t let them. Thoughts?

@Sirenboobzilla I just found a pic of James Byrd’s head where it landed after being dragged by two white southerners with a confederate flag on their truck. What did you say? “No lynchings in the 90s…”

Bill clinton used to fly the confederate flag and was opposed to gay rights. He along with Hillary and Biden brought about the 1994 crime Bill and his mentor was kkk member Robert Byrd.

In 1923, the legislature added a fourth star, representing the Confederate States. This fourth star was originally placed so that there were two stars above the state name and two below; this was to include the Confederate States alongside France, Spain, and the United States. Since this disturbed the other two meanings of the original three stars, the legislature corrected this in 1924 by placing the fourth star above "ARKANSAS" and the original three stars below it, as it is today. The 1924 design was confirmed as law in 1987 by Act 116, signed by Governor Bill Clinton
