Let's bring up the other example to show what distractions are.

Lots of people talk about transhumanism, and then they think the Neuralink is a problem. But that's a distraction, when they can just get you to inhale the nanoparticles that do much more than what Neuralink is capable of.

Similarly, the puppet politicians argue about abortions. Do you think leftist women enjoy the pain of the process of aborting? Of course they don't. So they are already trying to avoid these. The big picture here is that the government is telling us what to do, whether the Democrats or Republicans, it doesn't matter, this is going the same direction as covid restrictions. The abortion argument itself is a distraction, while dividing left against the right and gaining more power over us all.
