Like Dreku said, it's both. They aren't mutually exclusive concepts. I don't like being recorded everywhere I go, but I understand that a business needs to protect itself and the gov needs to protect its citizens.
Pretty soon, everyone will be wearing body cams anyway. Force it on cops, then on criminals, then on gov workers and certain private employees, then make headlines about situations where a normal person would have benefited from one and people will force them on themselves.

Yes but we have the right to oppose and limit the use of CCTVs. Installing large number of CCTVs is a violation of human rights.
What can we actually do? We don't get to vote on the issue. The gov does whatever they want. If we take them down, we go to prison. Same for private business owners and homeowners. I don't know what can be done besides complain.
