possible. my guess is these people have always been around in some numbers, just a minority and not accepted. Sometime in the 1990's it took off. They've recognized and promoted them for inclusion and "coming out" promotion... it took off, maybe for good reason or not to accept these people, and it sucks in other people.

maybe it's being done to weaken the country by adversaries?

it doesn't hurt to disburse all sorts of chemicals for decades all over, and put garbage into the food culture and female hormones that go into the water supply that aren't stripped out apparently, and then maybe that influences the development of some offspring.

No. Gender dysphoria has been around for many years before any treatment programs or facilities were constructed. These things were built to make money from treating this disorder, similiar to how heart and cancer treatment facilities were built.
