Do Trump supporters see torturing monkeys as free speech?

According to the BBC there is a online trade in videos involving baby monkeys being tortured before being killed. One of the leaders is an avid Trump supporter as proved by the picture.

At the bottom of the article there is a statement from Telegram, "Telegram said it was "committed to protecting user privacy and human rights such as freedom of speech", adding that its moderators "cannot proactively patrol private groups".

This sound like the usual rhetoric hate groups use to justify saying stuff. Now I'm not connecting Trump with this, that's for the courts. But given the picture and article what are your thoughts?

I don't think Trump is responsible for the shitty people who follow him any more than he is responsible for the good people who follow him. He didn't make the videos or put the confederate flag up next to his in a private building. I don't see how a court could find him responsible for the actions of a separate entity he did not issue orders to. As an interested party in wildlife and by extension other environmental conservation absent the left wing crazies who have politicized that space, I do not in any way condone the torture of animals for any reason. I have my hunting paperwork lined up for my state and do not take issue with an ethical kill that minimizes suffering such as is possible of animals which will be used. But I hold that there is a special place downstairs for people who would make that kind of video, and would not be above assisting their arrival even if they do support the same political candidate. My duty to philosophy and ethics supersedes political tribal affiliation.

There are literally thousands and thousands of videos of every animal you can imagine having everything you can imagine done to them. I’m leaning DeSantis this year but have supported Trump in the past and will likely support him after an eventual Primary win. That guy is sick. No one that I can remotely think of would support what he is doing. Some actually may use an AR 15 to stop him if that helps with this stereotyping. :)
