A) It was not an insurrection. This was maybe a riot. I think it was a mostly peaceful protest.

B) Over a million people showed up in DC on Jan6th to protest a stolen election. These were working class people with bills to pay and families to support that felt so strongly about the validity of the election that they took time off from their jobs and at their own expense traveled to DC on Jan6th to protest a stolen election. There was no action by President Trump that excited the trespassing in the Capitol building, in fact it was quite the opposite. The media never shows his speech which asks the crowd to "March peacefully and patriotically'. There were over a thousand people who submitted signed affidavits saying that they witnessed voter irregularities and fraud. Most of these were never investigated and the ones that were were only given a quick look before they were dismissed. Meanwhile the FBI has investigated everyone that was in DC that day. They are looking at credit card receipts, hotel manifests and millions of hours of video using facial recognition. Over two tears have gone by and they are still making arrests.

The protest was certainly justified when half the country was denied their constitutional right to choose their leader.

Democrats are already rigging the election by having multiple indictments against President Trump who happens to be the front runner in both the primary and general elections. If the election is stolen again I imagine the million plus people who will decend on the capital on inauguration day will not stop at a few broken windows Democrats may get to see what a real insurrection is.

No but somebody who lives a couple of tows over was just arrested by the FBI last week, more than two years later. All that money spent to track this person down... for trespassing.

If you expend the supreme effort to find out what an insurrection is (you probably won't) you will discover that there was no insurrection. It was a protest demonstration that got out of hand. The only death was in innocent military that was vet murdered by a capitol policeman. If you want to see what insurrection looks like, look at the aftermath of the 2016 election. Voted for Trump twice. He won both elections; the last was stolen by provable fraud. However, its time for New Blood. If he is the candidate, I'm voting for RDS and I hope he runs against RFK. That election will reduce the mess we have now.
