I think it's true that "rarely is the question asked: 'is our children learning?'.". Slips of the tongue happen to everyone, and by themselves they don't really mean much. Given the frequency and depth with which Biden makes them is another story- but do you really think "President Harris" would be better?

Starting with Bush (the good one), we've had a series of vice Presidents chosen to protect them, since NOBODY would want them to take over. Al Gore was passable at best, Dick Cheney is heartlessness made manifest, Mike Pence is Pat Robertson 2.0, and Biden is a walking war on the Bill of Rights.

I don't think the Democrats actually expected him to win in 2020.
