I doubt it. Pretty much the only line of attack republicans have on Joe Biden is his age. They know they will lose everything if they dare try to attack the unmitigated success of his policies anywhere outside the far right media echo chambers. But the problem with that is Trump is basically the same age as Biden, so that attack won't sway anyone one way or the other. Their only chance seems to be to try to recreate the "unfair primary" narrative that cost Hillary the election in 2016, which right wingers are trying to cobble together by pretending RFK is a democrat. Even with far right billionaires owning 90% of consumed media Biden still won in 2020, so I think sabotage is pretty much republicans' only shot.

Although, it is also true that despite Biden getting about 7 million more popular votes, Tump only lost, electorally, by a mere 40k votes. That's not a wide margin and I don't think it is insurmountable for far right media to really dig in to a few swing states. They basically have unlimited funding, after all, and decades of study of every possible way to trick people into voting against their own interest - that's how a failure like Trump got 74 million votes in the first place. And how republicans took the house in 2022 despite failing to explain a single plan or policy. Far right billionaires have gotten a return on what they've invested into propaganda, no doubt about it.

All that said, however, I think Trump is damaged goods. The insurrection, indictments, still-fresh memory of his botched handling of COVID, the hate... There are too many apolitical people who will remember the hell of the Trump administration compared to the calm of the Biden administration, where all the manufactured anger and turmoil that there even is comes from right wing media trying to make people angry (which they can just turn off), and really want to avoid doing that again. I think DeSantis is the most likely to beat Biden. Not that there's any difference between DeSantis and Trump in terms of policy, but he puts on a show of intelligence well enough that it might trick a few people into believing he isn't ruled by his animal brain. This will cost him many votes on the right but I think it would gain him votes from the center. However, by dangling a pardon for Trump he's sure to get Trump's endorsement, so his supporters might fall for it.

Biden is incapable of carrying on an intelligent conversation never mind have a debate with somebody. His handlers are floating the idea of having surrogates campaign for him. I doubt tha tthe American people will want a president that cannot eve ncamaaign for himself or have a debate with an opposing candidate. The public sees what he is and will not vote for him.

I have seen President Trump at a couple of rallies. He has lost weight and is as sharp as ever. The CNN town hall was a setup and he knew it but went anyway. He got applause from the hand picked audience by the end of the evening. CNN had egg all over their lying faces.

What exactly are you a "Dr." of, or is that just a monicker? With 70 indictments already, not including the ones coming for Jan. 6th, the Republicants would be dumber than they usually are to even nominate him. But have at it. Depending on what he's charged with and/or convicted of regarding sedition or seditious conspiracy, he could end up being barred from holding office. Personally, I'd prefer seeing the R's shoot themselves in the head.

I think it is more likely than not that at that time Trump will be in prison or at least will be in deeper legal trouble. I realize that all of his followers will vote for him in a gesture of support, but I really doubt that other Americans will vote for a mentally ill criminal like Trump. I certainly hope they don't. This country will not survive another 4 years of Trump.
