Today I saw 2 white parents with their adopted black children and as a black man I couldn't stop staring, it was weird to me, even the children looked at me, im sure they thinking how are we black and our parents white

They made it against the law for native Americans. Any family custody should be with the extended family and that could extend to the whole village with how we define family. Thats the base logic on top of that government did horrible political policy called "kill the Indian save the man" a soft genocide basically.

So there is a case to be made with legal precedent. But native Americans have a level of Tribal sovereignty. Basically a government inside US government. As a form of repreparations that isn't a payout would create a similar government body that exclusively goes to federal law to over come the race issue inherent to cases like childcare on local government.

Aboriginal Australians have something similar that might be worth while looking at.

It never fails to amaze me that yuppie Liberals need to virtue signal so badly that they go shopping for children overseas just to accessorize.

Adopt an American kid? Well why, that other orphan who isn’t even a citizen of my country is more deserving. Sure, I have absolutely nothing in common with them, they don’t speak my language, and our two cultures are so different that the transition will bound to be difficult, but I need a little Black Somalian for the Met Gala. And if I can’t get one of those I want an Asian—but a brown skinned one, maybe from Laos or Cambodia. What about Myanmar? Didn’t they have a coup there? Sign. Me. Up.

I was in foster care and I can honestly say, children need adopted. It shouldn't matter the color of the children or parents. Every year so many children are abused and taken from their parents, and some don't even make it to a good home. The foster system is rocky. It's a hit or miss. Some homes are good, some not.

Adoption is a wonderful thing. My foster parents adopted me when I got older. Some people don't get that lucky. People have different opinions though, so I can't speak for everyone.
