I was thinking about moving to Florida, they have a cherished stand your ground law, they have a castle doctrine, growing drugs is a felony but you can legally buy weed seeds and shroom spores and other plant based and animal based drug seeds online and grow them in your house clandestine, it's apparently good to raise kids in as they're very strict against sex offenders, Ron desantis is a papalist (someone who believes in the supremacy of the Roman pope) but he doesn't let reprobates from California or other blue states ruin it, the people are friendly.

Are you out of your mind? No WAY. Florida is the stuff of my nightmares. The sweaty underarm of the country. I’ve heard it described as the “colon” of the country cause all the SHIT drains downhill to there.

I am trying to talk my wife into moving there. I live in a liberal shithole and it is getting worse. The schools are indoctrination centers, illegal aliens get free drivers licenses, the taxes are among the highest in the country, the roads and bridges suck , traffic is really bad and I had to buy firearms because crime is getting bad and I wanted to do it before they ban gun ownership.

It depends on what you're looking for in a state. If you're planning on having kids, the public schools in Florida have been forced by the state to test students like crazy for accountability and that's not optimal.

Politically, Florida is pretty solid, and relatively well managed for its size and status as a tourism-heavy state.

The weather is a non-starter for me however. I HATE humid marshes.
