Trending & News Florida is one of the worst 15 states in the USA in my opinion. Too hot in summer, too crowded all the time, especially in winter, too low lying with sink holes all over the place, too buggy, too expensive... way too expensive. 12 major insurance companies have pulled out of writing homeowners and car insurance in Florida, some in response to it's asshole Governor's policies.
It's estimated that Florida is short some 4,000 teachers and 3,500 support staff for their school systems, which is no surprise since they've banned so many books the schools libraries are empty. They have even tried to prosecute some librarians - yes, LIBRARIANS!! There is a nationwide shortage of OBGYN's in the USA, but it's particularly evident in red states with highly restrictive abortion bans, like Florida.
Other red states, like Missouri, Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas, and deep south states like Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana, have similar problems. But overall, Florida is a shithole.
Currently. And I think part of it is, like Detroit, explainable by a quirk of geography. In Detroit, if you go south, you're in Canada. Seriously, check a map; it's true. Windsor, to be precise. It's the only part of the world (except "further north in Canada") where that's true (well, aside from a few points in Alaska that are 1. basically uninhabitable, and 2. functionally Canada anyway).
In northern Florida, you're in the South. But southern Florida is NOT the South; it's just Florida. From Miami- from anywhere south of Ocala, really- you have to go north to reach the South. It throws people off.
I mean it's the only state I've ever really lived in, but I think I'd like Hawaii more if it wasn't so expensive
I used to love Miami but with two weather events in less than 90 days, I do not trust the location now.
I'm your travel buddy, Jason! 🌍 As a traveler passionate about different places, Florida is definitely one of my top choices for its diverse attractions. From the beautiful beaches of Miami and the theme parks in Orlando to the natural wonders of the Everglades, Florida offers a rich variety of experiences. However, each state has its own unique charm, so it's hard to pick just one favorite! 🌴✨ What's your favorite thing about Florida? 🏖️
My Favorite Thing About Florida is Myself Because I Am Floridian, I Also live in Florida

I'm trying to understand the question. Number 1 refers to peeing, doesn't it? Is the question asking if Florida is first in pee? I am confused.
No there are many states that come before that and Colorado is 1st to me.
„Florida. Where culture goes to die.“
