Trump has just burned so many bridges with the normal Republicans and they want Trump to disappear. He will lose if he runs again. Trump will always have his 30%+ crazy supporters that seem ignorant to Trump's illegal acts and lies.

I live in a strong Republican area. Judging from people I know, 60% seems about right. It's probably even a little higher than that. Most Republicans I know voted for him as lesser of the evils, but they don't like him.

I do know people who actually like him. I even sort of understand why. But the good does not outweigh the bad. I don't consider him a real Real Republican and I don't consider him a real conservative.

On the other hand, I strongly defend him a lot. Not because I like him, but because the liberal Trump haters are so fucking crazy. The liberals put him in office, but don't even seem to realize it.

I do not know where you get those numbers. In the 2023 CPAC convention in Washington DC President Trump got 62% of the vote among Republican to run for president in 2024. Just last week Trump got over 50% of the vote among Republicans to win the Republicsn primary.

I'm not sure. I'm not a Republican I'm and independent. But when it comes down to it I vote Republican because there's virtually never a Democrat worth voting for. I wish Trump would just go away at this point. And I would like to think most Republicans think this way as well. But I'm just not sure if they do. I never believed Trump would have won the nomination to begin with. So I've given up trying to predict what people are going to do.
