With the population crisis being an issue, it reminded me of people talking about how being a mom is a full time job. And that got me thinking Well if that's the case why not just pay women to have and raise kids?

The details would vary but the general idea would be to give women financial incentives to be a mother, encouraging them to have kids which would stabilize the population. Course this would require them to be in a legally recognized marriage so they can't just have sex with some random dude and be like "gimme money"

Ok now considering they would have to give that same amount to every single woman in the country. You're essentially saying the only way you'd be willing to have a child is if the US government was willing to risk economic collapse.
