i followed the stats a few months. in African countries almost no covid in each country of millions. in israel thousands of jews died... but they were almost all over 70 so died when had covid but not by covid. i consider his statement accurate. i mean statistic.

I just think that they are not quick to assume that every violent act from the police does not always come out of nowhere.

I think a lot of them changed their view of the police after covid struck similar to a lot of revalations people had about nazi soldiers during world war 2. A lot of them are willing to forgo their moral frameworks as long as they avoid pissing off their overlords. That was why they heavily opposed the covid measures.

I understand that you might not have been a part of the group that burned masks but my point is that forming communities that is very protective of itself is a very good anti-tyranny tool.

Take a look at the Amish, they take their daughters out of middle school and marry them off, clearly defying the government and they don't give a shit. The state knows the Amish will never stand for their interference with their way of life so they stay away. Catholics did the same when there was a lot of Christian persecution centuries ago.

My point is that these groups were able to tell the government where they can shove their imposing policies because of these tightly knit communities and their investment in its survival.
