AI is a way to gross profit. Governments tax gross profit.

I say we nationalized automation profitable income same as if not more. Then take that tax income and better people's lifes. Give people better education, healthcare travel opportunities.

We did this with manual labor on farmland and the combustion engine replaced millions of workers. Into creating cars. The problem is our leading entrepreneurs need less people but way way higher education. So we channel all the automation into education funding.

I have argued, an AI is always programmed by a human. So in that sense, never will an AI take over “all” human jobs.

If AI could suddenly write AI as well if not better than humans, it’ll be Terminator 5: die harder. But I think that might be impossible. Tho I’m no where near knowledgeable enough on AI to be an authority.
