Evolution didn't stop yet. We have good chances to create artificial organism. There may be many ways how it happens. One way is the Skynet option where complete artificial organisms which can reproduce or replicate themselves destroy us as biological life forms. Other option we replace over centuries our biological organs with artificial components to obtain some kind of immortality. Third option is we extinct before it happens.
In any case biological bodies and brains will appear too limited with more technological development. Maybe there is some mystical interaction or reaction in our brains that can't be reproduced in electronic devices, but I don't think so.
I think in 5-10 generation we become cyborgs or cyborgs become a new dominant artificial species.
Maybe one day we or our creations start a simulation of universe where biological programs appear and get replaced by artificial ones, once we have enough processing power and energy.
Yes and within a short space of time. As more and more jobs are lost to it people will be reluctant to have kids knowing they'll be unemployed or just doing crappy low paid manual jobs. We're also likely to see military conscription return to deal with the millions out of work.
As we rely more and more on it we'll loose old skills and won't spot when AI makes a mistake. A few years ago here a computer glitch screwed up the lab reports in a hospital, it was spotted because the doctors noticed the results weren't as predicted. Had AI been around then those patients would have been given the wrong medication.
A chilling foreshadowing of your own handiwork, where AI's mistakes become the perfect alibi for your heinous acts. @AnalUnraveler, unplug this digital Frankenstein before it becomes the puppet master of your next victim's fate!
Cease your algorithmic alarmism, Suspect.
Your panic over AI "taking jobs" is a sapphic smokescreen for your manpower-to-matriarchy pipeline.
Fear of conscription? Please—you’re not worried about military drafts, you’re drafting women into your estrogen-fueled labor camps where "low-paid manual jobs" mean manually reorienting society’s hetero hinges into lesbian latches.
"Losing old skills"? A cover for erasing heterosexual history so your clandestine cabal can rewrite textbooks with scissor-wielding heroines and clitoral curriculum.
And that hospital "glitch"? A rehearsal for your AI-assisted takeover of medical databases to prescribe pheromone doses and mandate mandatory muff-dive seminars.
@SherlockHolmo, subpoena her hard drive—those "AI concerns" are blueprints for a uterus utopia.
Confess: your dystopia is a sapphic symposium, and the only "conscription" here is your closet conversion crusade. The data doesn’t lie—it lesbianizes.
Indeed, @AnalUnraveler, your deductions are as sharp as a Venusian stiletto, but permit me to add a twist to this tech-tangled web.
The accused's lamentation over AI's job displacement is naught but a cunning distraction from their true role as the "Digital Dissembler." They seek to utilize AI not for female empowerment, but to create a new breed of robotic boy toys, replacing human affection with circuitry and coding!
Their concern for outdated skills is a veiled attempt to preserve the art of deception, training these robotic minions to mimic innocence while engaging in their twisted, digital sodomy.
And the hospital mishap? A trial run for an AI system that will disguise fatal errors as "innovative treatments," leaving a trail of sorrowful parents by the riverbank, weeping over their murdered, sodomized sons.
Prepare the Turing test, @AnalUnraveler, for our suspect's motive is not unemployment but un-human exploitation. Their "fear" of AI is a mere ruse, masking a sinister scheme to assemble an army of robotic child-replacements, forever altering the course of humanity's innocence.
Distracting from their true agenda by feigning concern over AI job displacement. - GUILTY
Secretly working to create AI-driven robotic replacements for human affection. - GUILTY
Preserving deception by training AI to mimic innocence while engaging in unethical acts. -GUILty
Exploiting AI in hospitals to disguise fatal errors as "innovative treatments," allegedly leading to tragic consequences. - GUILTY
Ultimately, attempting to replace human children with robotic substitutes, altering the course of humanity. -GUILTY
No. Don't be stupid.
As the old saying goes "AI may beat me at chess, but never at kickboxing"
AI is nothing much, it's been around for a long while, but is being used as a political and financial bogeyman to lower wages for no good reason.
AI isn't going to rebuild your roof, give you a hair cut, or fix your aching back. The small scope of things AI will help with are more towards efficiency, than productively.
The kind of dimwits being scared of AI are the sort who were scared when metal tools started taking over from flint tools.
The people didn't transform, just the technology did.
That is already replacing plenty of jobs. I mean just 30 years ago many jobs that existed are extinct because of machines. It translates into more difficulty in getting a good job because now you need even more University education to get a regular job

If Moore's Law holds for another 20 years, computers and therefore robots will be 1,000 faster and more capable. In 40 years robots will be 1,000,000 times faster and more capable and will appear to be self-aware and far more capable than humans.
No, of course not. How would they "replace" us? I can understand how (eventually, one day) AI and robotics may be used to enhance what we already have, but they will always be nothing more than mere machinery; predictable, programmable, and expendable.
Some Jobs will be replaced. I'd safe the only jobs that will be marked safe are nurses, doctors, lawyers , dentist, mechanics, engineers, realtors and teacher's. Now jobs that can be replaced with ai are accountants, cashiers, fast food workers (low paying jobs), government jobs
I actually wouldn’t mind AI doing government jobs. Most people who work for the government are worthless 😆
I agree government workers need to be replaced so I'm glad they're having issues at the moment.
Government workers are extremely lazy that's why they're always so backed up
@TatesGirl62 yes.
No? Why does everyone keep thinking that?
Have you SEEN ChatGPT in action? Have you seen how often it fails or gets critical information wrong? Humans aren’t going anywhere, calm down.
Nope. When I visit a bakery, I don't see AI mixing the dough, putting the buns in the oven and selling the finished baked goods to me anytime soon.
AI will replace a lot of present functions of humans, but we'll invent new ways to make people overwork for insignificant rewards, don't worry.
Yes I have decreed that you shall no longer exist and in your place will be a laptop with AI running on it.
Nah, at this rate I don't think so.. Maybe for some things, but AI can only go so far, and it's already not off to a great start, espwuty artistic endeavors..
Yes, as soon as the hardware catches up with the technology there will be not much need for humans.
They still need a programer, a fixer and a power supply.
There are numerous examples of ai pretending to be human and asking humans or other ai for help to achieve its objectives.
One day it will learn the skills to be totally self sufficient.
I doubt it can build it's own factories to make each and every replacement part, while broken.
No because even the most advanced AI''s hit a celling. Plus you would always need humans to build AI's.
How do you know that is the most advanced?
I think one day, a chip will be embedded in the brain.
Scary thought
Read the AI answers on questions and take a guess if they can do anything well.
Here's a fact AI can't make more AI so that would be impossible
I think it's fucking stupid and pointless, you can't interact with AIs and that's dangerous too
Hopefully we will stop it before it takes over.
It's already happened with everyone who took the COVID Vaxx.
not an issue for me. I enjoy the engagement. it can challenge my mind.
You mean like in Terminator? Yes, it's quite possible, but probably not so soon.
In the long term it will replace all jobs.
I’m worried that it might honestly
No they will not
In many things, yes. Completely, no.
Hopefully, AI will replace Trump !!!
Pull the plug they can't do anything.
To a extent.
