How do you resolve the rape of women in war?

Everyone knows that rape of women no matter how young or old will almost happen regardless. One thing I have wondered as a ethical and moral man how can you prevent crimes against women like rape? Who will be there to protect women when all the men are gone? I often wonder how society depicts men as no longer needed in the eyes of a femenist. When you find the very women who are taught to be their own masters getting raped by a line of soldiers. Would you defend the very women who cast men aside in this idea that men have no place? I certainly would not but do I wonder if women will pick up a gun in droves like the young men without question in world war II?

We try to enforce some kind of rules to war to civilise it but in reality there are no rules. When civilisation breaks down almost anything goes espicially if there's no legal consequences, a sort of mob rule mentality takes over. We saw this during the Arab Spring rapes in Egypt where in one instance a female sky new reporter was raped in broad daylight by hundreds of Muslim men or in Pakistan where its normal for a group of men on a bus to pull over to rape a homeless orphan boy.

End wars. or actually put these soldiers in jail after they return.
