Teach women how to kick ass, that's how. People commit all types of violent acts because they don't fear their victims. They think they can get away with everything until the cops come, because not many people know how to fight, carry guns, swords, knives, etc. anymore. A man wouldn't pick a fight with a bear because the bear will shred him like lettuce. Women need to be able to shred their attackers like lettuce. It's a power thing. When people think they have power over you, they believe they can do what they want. You have to take the power from them by knocking the wind out of their sails, "knock their dick in the dirt" as they say

I remember the case of a woman who decided to date a convicted violent criminal. He started living with her. One day he was angry with her so he shot her dog in the eye with a bb gun right in front of her. She didn't dump him. She was too sick in the head to do that. She stayed with him. Months later she vanishes. He murdered her too. I've known women with this constant attraction to guys who do bad things to them. You can't wave a magic wand and get rid of all the weirdos. You CAN fix yourself tho.

Stop telling women that they're always victims in life. Then when a woman is the type who is attracted to bad guys, she doesn't have the excuse of saying it's all his fault. She can actually work on fixing that part of herself that is sick. Less desperate/pathetic women means less abuse victims because they don't get with that kind of guy in the first place.

People will always pick on other people, bully them, abuse them, be violent against them.

There is a ton of violence from guys against guys.

in some cultures, countries etc, they have limited rights.

Rape in marriage for example is not illegal in a lot of countries.

I think we need to teach understanding. in schools because people more often than not don't understand each other. I think having a talk about what is hurting us could help others become better people. By becoming better and mentally healthier we stop violence and crime in general against everyone. Of course their will be people who can't change no matter how hard you try. Than theirs the fact that a lot of people blame others for their lives instead of taking a look at themselves. Violence against people in general is either for defense or because something is wrong mentally ( In any first world country anyway). As for people in third world countries, well having a new and better government would be the quickest and best way for that to stop happening. Sadly most people don't want to do that, because it takes more work than what people think is needed. When in reality this would be the best method in helping others and ensuring the safety of the people.

Nice question. Progressed countries are garantist, meaning that they believe in the innocence of somebody until proven guilty. And as much as I fully agree with that concept, it also means that no crime can be punished before it happens, which means that you women are truly and well fucked.
Learn to defend yourselves as no one will until the deed is done.

You seem to believe that violence is a gendered issue, But domestic violence is very nearly 50/50.. which means its not a gendered issue. you should not be making it one either. And statistically men face greater danger of being the victims of violence in society than women do..

To stop violence, you address it in the home. I personally came form a home where child abuse was common, Not kidding.. But it did not come from my dad, it came from my drug addicted, prostitute mother, I never knew my father. Most people who commit violence, suffered it as a child, and 71% of all child abuse comes from the mother, not the father..

make the punishment fit the crime, lets say for rape and murder,
if found guilty and all the legal documents are in order, the his punishment is to have to run a gauntlet,
he can be released from a certain place but the country is told when and from where,
if women/girls want they can be waiting, if he gets away safe he is free to go,

The key is likely finding the root cause of what causes violence in the first place. There is a million different reasons though.
