Pretty ready.
Martial arts has helped me become able to have a "switch" on situational awareness and combat readiness. If I'm out and about, I'm always conscious of my surroundings.
It's saved me from two attacks I know of, possibly more.
Fortunately most situations don't require violence or a fight. Usually, words and awareness are enough.
When they're not, though, I won't hesitate to break knees, necks, or arms to get myself to safety.
So what happened during the 2 incidents?
Knowing me open my loud mouth and yet my self into drama.
