They always call him a member of the far right, but he was actually a member of the far left.

His own party was called the “National Socialists” and you can even read about their economic policies yourself.

Hitler himself used to be a Communist and his new ideology was both Anti-Capitalist and Anti-Communist.

He himself even self identified as a socialist in one of his own books.

And if you still don’t believe me, all you have to do is go to the website of the “American Nazi Party” and read their manifesto for yourself. Their ideals are very socialist in nature.

Also, Hitler hated fascism himself. Though he may have shared in some key elements of fascism, he actually initially hated Mussolini and they only came together eventually after a period of time of both having been economically isolated from the rest of the world.

They were originally butting heads just a few short years earlier. Italy opposed the German Anschluss and was even accredited with stopping the first German Anschluss attempt in 1934.

Also Germany provided support to Ethiopia during the Italo-Ethiopian War.

And yeah Mao Tsedong, Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler are all like the top three murderers in world history. And they’re all left leaning.

So what does that tell you about who is the greater threat?

No one is saying "every right winger is like that" But there are some people saying "no right winger is like that." Don't confuse the existence of opposites for evidence that there are only two options. No one on the right is acknowledging that their tiny fringe deviations are real threat to our nation whereas our tiny fringe deviations are... what... men wearing dresses? Not sure where the outrage comes from but that's not exactly the threat of subverting the nation by ushering in an era of christian nationalism. You can make whatever evil thing you were told to associate trans people with illegal without also making trans people illegal, you know. Then you don't risk punishing the overwhelming majority that doesn't engage in that behavior (while also ignoring the exact statistical minority of your group that engages in the same behavior), if that's important to you. If it's not, again, it's still not going to overthrow democracy, so this is, above all things, NOT a both sides issue..
