Then we have to listen to the liberal democrat yell and rage at us for not seeing how horrible HE, Trump is! They surely are NOT self-aware.
They say he instigated J6th, but he said to protest peacefully. Then you have many, many democrat politicians flat out tell their violent voters to "push", get with a crowd of fellow democrat voters and "tell them they're not welcome" in this country or on the planet I presume. Burn cars and dealerships.
Let's understand one another. We all know who has the party of violence and hate. Nobody likes a bully. But one thing is certain. Bully's always get their just deserves.

This isn't about "liberal democrats." This is about lunatic fringe people who associate themselves with the democratic party. In fact, I've not even heard about these events of egging people/cars, committing violence against or telling people to stay away from group meetings.

And what I DID hear about the Jan. 6 event pertaining to Trump was that he knew what was going on and did not send out troops or additional police to STOP what was happening , and this is because he wanted the election results to be overthrown because he wanted to stay in power.

He might've said he wanted the protest to be peaceful, but several people, including a police officer, were killed because Trump did not act immediately to round up people who were acting violently.

And there was this longtime STOP THE STEAL thing that went on with Trump and cronies denying election results that even REPUBLICAN state officials said were offiicial and correct. There WAS no steal.

And there are still people trying to say a steal happened when the COURTS ruled by Republican judges ALSO verified the Biden election.

And did ANYONE in the democratic party say there was a steal for the past election? Because, again, our election system is safe and accurate exactly like it was in 2020. And though Trump said it was a landslide victory, he garnered 51% of the popular vote.

No landslide of any kind. But was there violence about his win? Not from rational people, who are the majority of people in all parties: demo, repub, independent.

Nancy Pelosi dismissed this as she was in charge of the Capitol building, and she orchestrated the whole scheme with some FBI and antifa street malitia dressed in MAGA gear. And this election thing was fraud and dirty tricks. They had to stop counting because of a stopped up drain in Georgia? How gullible are you? Raise taxes on 1 percenters and on corporations who've sent those jobs overseas... BUT realistically, to reinstitute all the manufacturing BACK to the US doesn't mean a windfall of jobs. No. 1, it'll take a decade or more and billions of dollars to restart a host of factories, and most of them will be robotically run, so the jobs impact will be minimal AND the cost of re-establishing this manufacturing back here will mean US people will be paying a premium for whatever we'll produce here..

Only computer chips and medicines are the most rational things to bring back to the US to prevent use being hamstringed by not having our medications and computer chips made here.

The rest, I fear, are gone forever and would cost too much to re-establish, and NOT bring enough jobs to make any kind of sense.

Plus, being tied to other countries by trade umbilicals is a great way to keep peaceful relations. We're giving them income they need to function, they're giving us goods we desire.

Massive fraud? Republican judges and secretaries of state in all 50 states have said there was no such thing. A few thousand instances of voter fraud were found in the entire country.

If you believe ALL of these republicans and officials are lying, who have no reason to, it doesn't make sense.

I don't think anyone 18 should be buying a gun. Someone 18 or younger may use a gun for hunting with adult supervision. As long as you attend the classes for conceal carry, anyone of age can get a permit to do so. I haven't heard of any change in our state laws for such licenses.

Large magazine , semi-automatic weapons, that with kits can be turned into automatic weapons, styled like AK-15s are not hunting guns and are military-style weapons developed only to kill people.

I suppose there are people who collect guns. But there are many people who have guns lying around, not in safes, and many young children have met their deaths due to such carelessness. A lot of teen boys have died fooling around with Russian roulette.

And angry young men and one recent woman have committed a slew of school killings using guns that were lying around their families' homes.

This is the ONLY reason anyone wants gun control laws: because a minority of gun owners have been lax about keeping guns and ammunition locked up and away from minors.

There's no proposal anywhere that has done anything but said there is a 3-day waiting period for some guns and background checks. I' see nothing wrong with either idea.

Felons can't own guns. Nothing in my background precludes me from having or keeping my gun. I don't know why we don't have gun licenses, and required training to handle and shoot guns, just like we do with cars.

These are sensible ideas that stop no one from having a gun but do everything to make gun ownership safer.

The police officer who died suffered a stroke a few hours after the capitol assault and medical examiner found the stroke was the result of stress while under pressure from the event.

This is the same as the protesters who died of heart attacks due to the stress of the situation they were in. Trauma, as all of those people experienced, leads to death. This is what the U. S. medical examiner concluded.

If none of those people had been there, either as participants or police officers, none of them would've been dead due to the events of Jan. 6. Caused deaths on BOTH sides. Uselessly.
