So leftists are usually the ones preaching about equality, fairness, good treatment of people and safety. But I find lot of them to be just as or even more aggressive and judgmental than the people they whine about, the republicans and conservatives.
I find them to be the biggest hypocrites. Both men and women.
I'm not a very violent person myself, and I don't think violence is helpful in most cases.
However, it seems like violence from the left is often a last resort, a pushback against an already violent issue (such as police brutality). Violence from the right seems much more like a preventative measure, something they can choose to do to keep a small problem from becoming any real threat (such as shooting beer cans because one trans person got one sponsership).
I believe everyone is capable of violence if they are pushed into a corner and have exhausted all other options. I wouldn't say a violent response in that situation makes them violent people. What is concerning is people who have someone else cornered, who haven't tried any other options, and who choose to use violence anyway.
This is a mindset I've encountered almost exclusively in conservatives (not all, but only). I don't know anyone of either side who is against self defense or the defense of others, which falls much more in line with the "last resort" use of violence that is more common on the left. This is why I don't find someone hypocritical if they are broadly against violence, but still use violence themself in some ways: defense is often an exception for this kind of rule.
yes. if you look at the history of them, they used to be the sensitive, social worker kinda person. that stretched and expanded and they are all very emotional. In star wars terms, they are the borg. programmed by msnbc and cnn and liberal ideas... they cling together.
they are less in control of their emotions, they are more senstive people and so they can get angry and are reactive.
There's people in the middle whom think teh same but not as reactive.
On the right extreme, you'll see violence as well. In the right in general, I saw less as people are more grounded and individual.
In a lot of ways, I wonder if the removal of relgion causes these people to be less stable as they have nothing to lean on but their "community"... which is not stable. Caveat, I know religious left leaning people, it's not a religion issue per se.
In America leftist are pretty violent but in Europe is it the reverse, right winger are ways more violent here, for example everytime that a kid get killed by the police they always defend the police guy saying the kid deserved it even when there's video proving the kid did nothing and the officer just killed him for "fun".
So it mostly depend on where you're from.
I've found over the last few weeks most everything you ask here is pure bullshit and just a way to create more kaos! Why don't you just shut your trap until you can find something useful to add to this community.

They've rightfully gained the reputation of accusing everyone else of what they are, or are doing. Nobody tried to assassinate any of their leaders... it simply does not work that way in their direction. Violence never happens until they show up.

I'm an immigrant. I moved to South Africa 21 years ago. I don't expect this country to conform to the way my home was growing up. I do my best to live within the boundaries of South African society. I don't agree with all of it, but it's my responsibility to do my best to assimilate. Legally.

I'm from a rural area, and I can tell you first hand they are kind people for the most part, but they don't pay attention beyond what happens to their area and what the news, usually Fox, which is known for its heavy propaganda, tells them. Also, there's a difference between stepping up enforcement, and calling it an invasion. It's not an invasion. Calling it that is literally proof of propaganda working.
Also, as for calling people who support Harris uneducated, why is it only one side trying to support their claims with documentation, while the other side either says the documentation is wrong, or supports what they said when it doesn't? by the way, Harris caught way more immigrants crossing than Trump did.
Also, for your last part, under Trump (assuming you immigrated to the US instead of Africa), he could say you lied, and start the process of denaturalizing you. Meanwhile, you have Musk, who actually entered the US illegally, who will now part of Trump's cabinet.
Oh, I almost forgot about the Sharia law part. There are people who want that, but I can guarantee you that has fuckall to do with Mexico, where most of the immigrants are coming from. Not to mention Project 2025 is a type of Sharia Law, but on the Christian side, though maybe not as extreme. I've yet to see someone who actually read project 2025 support it, yet it's a large part of Trump's campaign.
I know a lot of farmers who'd question the validity of a tertiary education system that teaches nothing of practical use in the real world. It depends on how you define "education".

Point 6: Europe is blighted by bureaucrat bullshit in Brussels. Two world wars in the space of 40 years decimated the intelligent population and in particular Germany are desperate to not repeat the mistakes of the past. Unfortunately, they don't look further back than 1930 for the mistakes so they miss the point of the preceding 2000 years of history.
Point 7: Harris described Free Speech as a privilege that should be revoked for some people, when specifically talking about people who disagree with her agenda. Trump's comment, in context, was saying that the American people would realise how damaging Democrat policies have been, not that there literally wouldn't be another election.
Point 1: Most people who have higher education know it's value. I don't know what point you meant to make with this.
Point 2: I wouldn't really call that indoctrination. Maybe some professors will, but the required classes I had to take for that they only gave us info on what Marxism and all that is, although I'm not sure what they really teach if you go further. But people who go into liberal arts are usually already leaning that way to begin with, so people call it indoctrination when it's a certain type of people who usually tend to go there.
Point 3: You can find things that have reputable parts in it, and highlight that part and ignore the assuming parts. Also, political correctness has very little to do with this, since facts aren't considered politically incorrect by a majority of the population. If you can't find facts to support your arguments, it's unlikely due to political correctness, and more likely due to it not being true or not having been studies. I used to be much more conservative until I realized that my assumptions didn't stand up to fact checking. Also, I don't want to go much further into this, but I do want to point out it's mainly just republicans who are trying to ban books they don't agree with.
Point 4: Isn't that just what they tell you? Most of them have the same message, and it's usually not left stream (Fox being the prime example). If they are Republican run, I can assure you they aren't pushing left stream propaganda.
Point 5: Harris didn't change her views in the slightest. In fact, the right called her out when she proved this when people were chanting during one of her rallies. You can be friendly with a country and still oppose their actions. Everyone should oppose the actions of Israel, even if you side with them. Just like how most oppose the actions of the US government, but aren't siding against their own government. It means you want them to to better. Also, if we are talking about weak, Trump avoids talking about a lot of issues he's asked about, refused to debate with Harris again after she stomped him in that one debate, has cried again and again about how he should have won, etc etc. Trump is weak, but Republicans think conceit and arrogance is a sign of strength. Harris had to be essentially flawless in this election and still came out the loser.
Point 6: You can say what you want about it, but Belgium, as well as most of Europe, has a higher quality of life than in the US, except for the wealthy, who often benefit more in the US.
Point 7: Can you show me where she said that? Also, Trump said those who disagree with him should be thrown in jail, so even if she did say that, I'd say in pales in comparison to what Trump said. And I want to know why it is that when Trump says something, it's not meant to be taken literally, is out of context, or is a joke. But if Harris says something, it's always taken literally. Do Republicans not realize they do this? I know both sides do this, but I want to point out that Trump won due to bias, and not actually being better.

Yes, I grew up in the 60s and 70s with liberal values. Liberals believed in peace, love, open-mindedness, tolerance, fairness, justice, liberty and freedom, distrust of authority, nonviolence, and opposition to imperialistic wars of aggression.
Modern liberalism is antithetical to those values.
Most conservatives I meet these days have more traditional liberal values than do modern liberals.

A tiny risk to an individual to save thousands or millions of lives is certainly doing the least harm possible. Especially if that risk is lower than the risk involved in catching the disease.

I wish I could say I was. Not to imply that people shouldn't, but I'm very politically involved and I see a lot of things that the average person does not, and this has been going on and ramping up over the past decade (maybe a little more). It's not novel anymore.
