Well, I'm conservative. I have never voted Democrat in my life. But I hate Trump with a passion. He is one of the worst presidents this country has ever had. After 2020 I was hoping he would shut the hell up and just go away. But the son of a bitch ran again and actually got the nomination, which amazes me.

Trump has never been popular, even among registered Republicans. Just because he decided to put an R next to his name doesn't mean conservatives will automatically like him. Anyone can run for any party they want. Just putting an R next to their name doesn't make them a real Republican or real conservative.

Don't assume that if someone hates Trump and wants him dead that they are a Democrat.

Trump has always been hated. He has changed political parties at least five times, including being a Democrat. He has always been hated no matter what party he happened to be in at the moment.

I think you are quite misinformed. No democrats tried to kill him. In fact both times so far the perps were associated with republican ideals/groups.

The information you are getting is faulty. Stop listening to cable news, and especially influencers. They aren't telling you the news, they are telling you their speculations on the news, and they tend to leave out the facts that don't support their narratives.

The vast majority of them aren't; they're normal people, like anyone else. Recall that so far, ONE PERSON has taken a shot (well, several shots, but that's not the point) at the guy. Two others have had guns while being NEAR Trump, but that's not the same thing.

As to why they hate him, they're bombarded constantly with a deluge of screams about how he's the Devil, and often so isolation from opposing ideas that they never hear another viewpoint. It's not that surprising that someone who was depressed and felt they didn't have much to live for would try to make themselves a hero by taking out the Evil Orange Man, even if it killed them in the process.
