@RoosterBreast i don't see why one would use the word "transhumanism". like how is transhumanism different from technological development and progress? like we have prosthetics. we have eye surgery, hearing aid surgeries. is that already "transhumanism"? I don't know. i think that's just a pointless buzzword that baffles people who can't think rationally.

Somewhat true, but the word implies the deliberate attempt to control humanity rather than freeing it using technology. Also to get rid of the nature while pretending to save it, the reason they want to feed us with bugs is that a protein in bugs supposedly allows better connection with the electronics, again, not for our gain as if that's positive technology.

@RoosterBreast whether it's "controlling" or "freeing" is always a subjective matter of perspective... like let's say i get an AI powered physical implant that that makes me able to hear and see when i previously couldn't. you could say this grants me freedom other humans have that i didn't have. at the same time it makes me dependent on the technology and therefore i'm somewhat under the control of that technology.

you can't have technoloy without that inherent dependency. you'll have to see if the technology locks you into it's ecosystem like apple does or if it's obensource and customizable like android is. and even with this, there's enough people in either camp to say that people are perfectly fine with both these things.
