My husband and I still live together for financial reason. We are in the process of divorce.
We took a lodger to help financially and I soon saw there was incredible chemistry between us. He started flirting with me and a few months later I could not say no and we had sex one afternoon when we were home alone. At the dinner table later that night he looked very quiet however the following day he was back to his happy and flirty self.
we are both in our early twenties ( I got married impulsively and naively. Big mistake) . When we had sex that night he told me I was his first but it was amazing and he was clearly happy. Why would he then look so shy and quiet afterwards? is he ashamed? Does he feel guilty because my soon to be ex husband is till living under the same roof? But if this is the case why then he keeps coming for more?

He may be embarrassed or weirded out that your husband is still under the same roof. Are you and ur husband still sleeping in the same room/bed?
How was the sex with the "new" guy? Do you want it to continue when your husband leaves?
Hi thank you for your comment. We sleep in separate bedrooms and live life as single people. Just trying to get finances up so he can move out. Divorce should come through soon too.
Sex was incredible. We took our time as it was his first time and I wanted for it to be special not only for him but for the two of us. And yes, I would like to see if this develops into a proper relationship once I am free but want to take things slow and not make the same mistakes. The was chemistry from the moment we met but I tried for months to not do anything hoping it would fade away but clearly it was getting stronger.
I hope it works out for all 3 of you. Hang in there
Thank you! 😊
Very likely. It's the normal reaction to feel shame for sleeping with a married woman.
He was afraid your soon to be divorced husband would figure out that you slept with the lodger.
He knows we are divorcing, we have separate rooms. It is not a secret. We leave separate lives. He should not need to be afraid?
