You probably shouldn't have assumed that he would like that specific lingerie set. If he stayed with you that long without sex, then yes, he probably prefers a different type of foreplay. I have heard men who like foreplay whereby the girl acts innocent and he has to make her feel comfortable. When the girl started dressing like you, he got very mad.
