I needed a relationship suggestion so i asked my guy friend... But in return he told me that he is not the right person to ask this question.. my question was" i like a guy and want to kiss him should I approach him first "

Was wondering why he responded in that way because previously also I had asked him relationship advice and he gave me some suggestion. Is he jealous or irritated?

Most likely that he is irritated and possibly jealous at the same time.

You may view this guy as a friend only and he may have more feelings for you than just simple friendship.

If you ask him this question, then he realizes that the target person is not him and if he has feelings, then it does hurt him to have to answer this question knowing that you ask him to give you a reply for an action that is destined to someone else.

Also, he may get irritated that you have to ask him about your relationship issues and if he answers them, you will always come to him for advice.
