I called the guy I’ve been seeing last night just to talk and a few minutes i tot he phone call he said “what made you call me? You must be bored “ i said “I’m not bored just wanted to talk to you and hear your voice” and he said “yeah right “

or any wild combination of those...

ask him... communication is the basis of any relationship...

Hard to say without more information, but he may have thought you were checking up on him. Depending on his tone of voice he might be wondering why you'd bother or he may be panicking because he's hiding something. It's impossible to say definitely.
