Why did he react like this?

My ex who I’ve been talking to for 9 months still hasn’t made an effort to meet up. When I asked about same suggesting perhaps he is not interested he said he had a lot on his plate right now. If you’re expecting a long term relationship, right now I’m not at that. Recognizing that he is essentially saying he isn’t interested I replied best of luck with all he has on his plate. He got upset with me calling me vindictive and rude and not deserving of my scorn. Why did he react this way?

Why is he talking to you if he is your ex I don’t understand ? it seems like he doesn’t want to have a relationship but also keep you around….


I think he got angry because he told you a truth that he has a lot in his plate. Maybe you should have told him why what’s wrong? Instead of good luck etc
So he got offended. He is actually being real with you which is nice.. but your response is kinda rushed.
But it’s ok you are human too and you are wasting your time with someone who doesn’t want the same of what you are looking for.


He doesn’t want a relationship but he likes you as the same time that’s my option.


Now it’s up to you do you want to spend your life waiting for a ghost? It go out there meet new guys and select who’s beta for you and love your life eg.!

Well we are in a middle of a pandemic so I gave more time then I usually would. He initiated most texts/phone calls. I’m not some pathetic person who is chasing someone. Perhaps you should give advice rather than judgment.

It's not judgement, it's pointing out your actions objectively. Advice? You shouldn't be talking to an ex anyway. You broke up for a reason, getting back won't work. I guarantee it.
