Sure if there is a violent act, I'd be down for that. But someone getting upset and calling you out for being transphobic isn't any more of a hate crime than it is for you to hate trans people.

Sure. If it can be a hate crime the other way aroaund, this can be a hate crime too. Helps to give these people the equality they claim to want too.
