    Of course, it did.

Consider listening to Hitler's last private secretary, Gertraud "Traudl" Junge. Born in 1920, she died in 2002 and appears at the beginning and end of the excellent 2004 German movie "Downfall" which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards. The movie tells of the final days of the Third Reich during WW II as told from the underground bunkers in Berlin where Hitler and NAZI leadership were.

The movie is currently free to watch on YouTube.

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/YzSMFWKCHhg

The movie opens and closes with the real-life Traudl Junge...

    OPENING

I feel as if I should be angry with that child, that naive young girl. Or that I must not forgive her for not recognizing the nature of that monster. For not being aware of what she was getting into. And especially that I went along without thinking. Because I wasn't a fanatical NAZI. In Berlin, I could have said, "No, I'm not doing it. I don't want to go to the Fürher's headquarters." But, I didn't do that. I was too curious. I also didn't realize that destiny would take me somewhere I didn't want to be. But, nevertheless, I find it hard to forgive myself.

    CLOSING

All the horror I heard about during the Nuremberg trial... the 6 million Jews, dissidents or people of another race who died shocked me deeply. But I hadn't made the connection with my own past yet. I reassured myself by thinking I wasn't personally guilty of it. And that I hadn't known about the sheer size of it. But one day, I walked past a commemorative plaque for Sophie Scholl, here in the Franz-Joseph-Strasse. I saw that she was my age and that she was executed in the year I joined Hitler. And only then did I realize that youth is no excuse and that it might have been possible to find out the truth.

    =========

Keep in mind, this is a German movie and this is what they say at the end before that final segment with Traudl Junge:

Germany officially surrendered on May 7, 1945.
It was agreed that all hostilities end at midnight, May 8.
By then, the war had cost over 50 million lives.
6 million Jews had been murdered in German concentration camps.

There you have it: Hitler's last private secretary and the Germans themselves recognize and admit what they had done. The Holocaust was very real.

      Consider watching this documentary.
I suspect excerpts from it were those beginning and end segments with the real Traudl Junge.
      ====

The astonishing true story of Hitler¹s private secretary coming to terms with working alongside unspeakable evil after remaining silent for nearly sixty years. In 1942, Traudl Junge was an apolitical 22-year-old chosen from a clerical pool to work as one of Adolf Hitler¹s private secretaries. Working day-in, day-out for Hitler, Junge viewed him as a surrogate father figure, private and polite, nothing like the crazed rhetorician of his speeches. Shielded from the knowledge of Hitler¹s acts of atrocity and convinced she was in the center of information, she was actually in a blind spot. As the Nazi regime teetered on destruction and Hitler plunged further into madness, Junge witnessed everything up to the final chaotic days in the bunker. Completed just months before Traudl Junge¹s death, BLIND SPOT: HITLER¹S SECRETARY is a riveting personal history which demands to be seen by all. The word itself is of Greek origins: holos is “completely” and kaustos is “sacrificial offering”.

The term is perfect for propaganda because Jews and Christians know from the Torah and Old Testament that burnt offerings were pleasing to God.

The burnt offering temporarily accomplished propitiation (satisfied God’s wrath) under the old covenant (2 Chron. 29:7–8), allowing God to stay His hand of wrath against Israel.

So the "holocaust" was used to justify God's promise of the Holy Land to the descendants of Abraham.

There were smatterings of usage prior to World War II to refer to mass slaughters, too, including with regard to the Armenian Genocide. And a 1943 New York Times piece about talks regarding Palestine references “the hundreds and thousands of European Jews still surviving the Nazi holocaust.”

Yet for decades after the war, the genocide lacked any formal title in English except, perhaps, “The Final Solution,” the term the Nazis used. In Hebrew, the calamity quickly became known as “Shoah,” which means “the catastrophe.” But it wasn’t until the 1960s that scholars and writers began using the term “Holocaust,” and it took the 1978 TV film Holocaust, starring Meryl Streep, to push it into widespread use.

Wars, mass slaughters and genocides have occurred throughout human history. Horrors certainly occurred during WWII, but Jews weren't the exclusive targets. Yet Zionist propagandists managed to apply the term Holocaust only to Jews in order to gain sympathy for the creation of Israel (and genocide of Palestinians in the process).

Are Poles, Slavs, Gypsies, Catholics, homosexuals, or those deemed to be enemies of the state ever mentioned in the holocaust narrative? Jews were a minority of those who were rounded up and sent to camps.

The fact of atrocities is not in question. But many of the details and the narrative, itself, need to be questioned. Unfortunately, the so-called "holocaust" is the only event in history that is not allowed to be researched or questioned. To do so is deemed "anti-Semitic" and will get historians, professors and researchers fired, discredited, and even imprisoned. Any average person who questions any detail of the popular narrative is branded a "holocaust denier".

So, while I fully acknowledge that many Jews were targeted and murdered by the Nazis, I reject the holocaust narrative.

Thous who say it didn't happen are suporting the nazy regim and should be sanctioned.
As a romanian i admit we had face preshure from Germany to kill, deport and change jews prisons from the Eastern Front.
BUT the reson Germany and Romania did it are completly diferent. In Germany you can get compensation and germany are humble, but in romania you get as well compesation and people will alwase be suspecious on you from conspiratory resons or jews implication and colaboration whit the red army and communism ideology.

I'm german xD my grandparents witnessed it. there's remnants of it that i have seen myself. and my family had a personal connection to a surviving victim of the holocaust passed away around 8 years ago. so to me those are good enough reasons to assume that this actually did happen and i don't know of any way of knowing it any better except being directly in it which is impossible since time travel doesn't exist.

Several that I know of. There are many more.

The Roman genocide of the Jews.
The Nazi genocide of the Jews. That's the one you asked about. If course, it did.
    The Trail of Tears.
The genocide of slaves dying enroute to the west.
    Mao's genocide of the Chinese.
    Stalin's genocide of the Ukrainians
    The Turkish genocide of Armenians.

Depends which one you're talking about, as there are many in history. There are also many taking place now. Like in Palestine, China and Myanmar

It happened, but it wasn't the worst genocide in human history, just the one they want everyone to remember.

How is anyone going to find out on Google what YOU THINK was a worse genocide? I googled what does JoeMichael67 think was a worse genocide than the Holocaust. Strangely, it didn't turn up any info. LMAO.
