According to World Population Review web site, these are the 10 most conservative states in the USA. Each one has a Republican controlled State Congress, and ONLY Kentucky has a Democrat for Governor.

As a state, it's almost certainly Oklahoma from a policies standpoint, maybe Wyoming.

For cities... Exclusively smaller to mid-sized cities. Large cities are pretty much always dark blue on any voting maps regardless of state. If I had to guess, I'd also say Oklahoma City.

It's not the person making some random assumption. The DATA confirms it. Numbers in this case are not lying. The following top ten states have the lowest percentage of high school graduates, college graduates, bachelor's or associates degrees earned, Masters or PhD degrees earned. They are:

West Virginia - 22.40
Mississippi - 25.64
Louisiana - 27.36
Arkansas - 30.87
Alabama - 34.46
Oklahoma - 35.32
Nevada - 35.70
Kentucky - 35.70
New Mexico - 36.99
Texas - 40.14

Only New Mexico is a "blue" state, and although Texas actually has more registered Democrats than Republicans, they are red due to gerrymandering and come in at the #10 least educated state.

All of those states except NM are considered to be very conservative states. Just the basic definitions of the words conservative and liberal will tell you which group is open to new ideas, critical thinking and change. It sure as hell isn't the conservatives.

Pretty much all the red states but especially Texas and Utah and Mississippi. These are the poorest states of all with lousy education systems and ineffective health care systems and despicable politics.

Most conservative would probably be Idaho and Wyoming. Most liberal Hawaii and Washington state.
